Will you support repealing this law on Tuesday and pledge to them that no American’s life is more valuable than another?” she said. Gaga then takes her cell phone (at four and a half minutes into the seven minute video) and calls both New York Democratic Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand but is not able to get through to either. Schumer’s line rang for over a minute and disconnected.  Gillibrand’s voicemail box was full. “I will not stop calling until I reach them to tell them to vote with Sen. Harry Reid to end John McCain’s ‘shameless filibuster,’” she said. Gillibrand has been one of the most outspoken advocates for repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.  She later tweeted to Lady Gaga: @ladygaga Thx for calling.
