That number of job losses is more than the revised 22,900 jobs cut from payrolls in July, according to data released Friday from the Employment Development Department. Eddie Karimi, 25, lost his job as a security guard in April 2009 and has only found one or two day-long minimum wage jobs since then. His father also lost his job recently, which means there's no income to support their four-person family, or pay the $1,100 a month rent on their Tujunga apartment. They're just one of the families that, because of unemployment, has fallen into poverty. The Census Bureau released data Thursday showing that one in seven families in the U.S. live below the poverty line. "I've been looking for every single type of work out there," Karimi said. The loss of 47,700 gov jobs I would think would be considered a good thing by most here. The state was plainly overbuilt during the Bush years as he must have had plans to clothe, house and feed most of Mexico here. But hopefully you will be moving out soon. That will get rid of another deadbeat goldbricker.

See? In the pathologic mindset Calif's woes are just misunderstood......all the foreclosures and depreciation are cornered in the 2.4% of land in Calif that is NOT on good wine growing land. You could have made it a condition of sale that the buyer put 20% down and qualify for a conventional jumbo mortgage.
And I'm supposed to care where he got his money because of what? He got two mortgages. Hey, if he bought off more than he could chew that is his problem.
