The only time I kill animals is when I help create a demand for the animal products I eat, and when I go hunting. I don't own dogs and haven't since I was a teenager. And I didn't do Dalmatians as they tend to be nervous and edgy as a breed. I usually had German Shepherds or Labrador Retrievers.

She is great with animals. We had an australian shepperd husky mix. We were on vacation and my sister in law was watching it. We have a 6' privacy fence. It was during the 4th of July. Fireworks were going on and he got scared and broke through the fence where a knot was. We were all sad to lose that dog. His name was hunter.
Alas, he died in his 80s, and so it goes. God is so merciful. I'm the godfather to a good friends 10mo old AuCaDog. Very intelligent breed but I'm not sure she expected the energy level these dogs possess. Great with the kids and other animals including the deer that feed out of her feeders. I'm considering the breed for myself. All my big dogs have passed on and need one to take back into the woods while I cut wood. Just plain boring out there without a dog, imo.

Would the attraction of conservative forums and their denizen for liberals represent the stability of a "Mommy" or "Daddy" in a sense? You're one of the few Liberals whose opinion on this I'd believe could answer my questions honestly. Conservatives visit "Leftist/Liberal" forums only as a lark or out of morbid curiosity...before finally succumbing to nausea and physical disgust.

I've known many communists in my fifty-six years on the planet. Used to have one who was a member of the local cell of Bob Avakian's Revolutionary Communist Youth Brigade who was always leaving the 'Revolutionary Worker at my door step and wanted be to join as badly as Stone wants to hog ring me into one of his religion's churches. His affiliation never bothered me, as everything these people touched turned to ruin thus who cares what they are. It is legal to belong to any of the communist parties in the United States, and I don't ever expect to see them amount to much. So I judge these people by the content of their character as I meet and get to know them. And if they have redeeming aspects to them, I'll give them the time of day and get to know them. But nothing is going to make me join up politically with them. Alinsky had some excellent ideas relating toward the end of conducting activism, and I honor that. but I disagree with much of his political paradigm, and so it goes. I just take him as he comes, learn from him if what he writes is tactically sound and applicable, dismiss him when I know better then to believe what he says in his writing. I have a B.S. in PoliSci and I had and have to read about and learn from all kinds of people to get that sheep's' skin, and to continue to learn as my life progresses. I try to learn and move on, not obsess about who deserves to be taken revenge against because of who they were or are. So it goes, as Kurt Vonnegut would say.
In the interest of fairness, why don't the two of you chill with the unproductive punching bag exchange. I'm sure you have better and more interesting issues you could be addressing each other. To his credit, Mike opposes abortion. Sure, we'd prefer his passion match that for animals, but...not even I am holding signs at abortion clinics.
And as a guest who has forgiven Stone for unnecessary baiting and verbal cruelty and anger, I chose to be very blunt in my assessment of his forum, and to blast him when he has treated me shabbily. Being a guest has prerogatives and obligations, and so does being a host. When I was an NCO I had to snap to attention first then call any element I was in charge of to attention. I had to lead by example. And if you look at much of what I said, many things call for him to do so as well. Being in charge is not a license to do as you wish. Often it entails responsibilities chores and expectations that makes you wonder why you do what you do when those whom you have as guests have more license to fudge the line then you do. In other word's, it ain't easy being king of a virtual kingdom. And if the message stings, discuss it, think about it, or dismiss it. Because if you retaliate against the criticism with attacks against the person leveling the criticism as a means to silent him or her, you only prove they were right in the first place if they say this is a central problem with your 'kingdom' on the 'net.
Thanks for the honesty... Based however on your above opinion, the Alinskys are ALL ABOUT revenge and the technique to best exact that revenge on a system/people that he/they ironically thrive in relative peace and harmony. "Learning" to recognize subterfuge, lies, and coercion of Alinsky-ism is not about "revenge"; It's about recognizing and opposing vociferously and passionately a system that mocks and attacks freedom and honesty - values you admire, Mike. Ying and yang in certain contexts are totally incompatible.
