The Koran is a text from Satan. It ruins people and makes them evil. Burn that evil piece of shit book. Burn them all. Wipe your ass with them. Piss on them. Spit on them. I find that a myopic view. Have you even bothered reading it Stone? Because of the issue I'm reading one right now out of curiosity. Much as I once took a bible study course when a student at the UO to better understand where Jewish and Christan people come from. This view of yours' makes you look narrow minded and intolerant. Tell me, would Jesus strike someone dead at a gathering for saying his words did not jive with them, or would he leave this free will choice up to them? You as a religion overall are not better then Islam, just different. All religions have their good and bad to them because of the human influence in their making and because all religions have their saints and scoundrels. I worked at Portland Saturday market and lots of Muslims vend there. One who is a good friend of mine has a Jewish wife. Go meet some American Muslims, read more on the topic. And leave the trappings of Fahrenheit 451 in the realm of fiction where it belongs.

Vicious hatred and intolerance is supposed to not be Christian values. I would say Stone needs to crack open his King James more then he needs to lust for dubious revenge against a religion that had adherents die in the attacks, and has service men and women in the U.S. Armed forces. I know many Muslims who are good productive citizens of the United States. One of them who is a vendor in Portland Saturday Market even has a Jewish wife. I am glad we have Muslims living in the United States, and as long as the U.S. Constitution remains healthy and unmolested, there will always be religious tolerance here as per the First Amendment which uphold religious freedom as well as freedom of speech. It is ironic Stone has a forum allegedly celebrating one half of the First Amendment, and a thread slamming the other.

No it is funny that you liberals never get worked up when they burn the American flag. They do it all the time. The govt burnt bibles. The Koran is a book that leads people to hell. It would be good if those people gave up satan and came to God. The founders weren't talking about islam when they said freedom of religion. Islam is a satanist cult. They were talking about babtists, presbytarians etc.
Just because the Koran is burnt doesn't mean that people should be violent or anything towards muslims.
I have a hard time understanding, in fact, I don't understand how Stone can claim to be a child of God who commands "Love thine enemy". I get that to love one's enemy can be difficult and a struggle, however, Stone seems to be celebrating his hate. You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Love thy enemy doesn't include not confronting them that they use a book that leads them to hell. If you hate them you would just keep quiet and not say anything. We do it too. I've even stolen a very large flag local anarchists were going to drag around and burn. I've also burned flags - that were worn out as is what is called for in American Flag protocol. As for the Bible burning the Armed Forces did, it was not an act of protest, it is the normal standard operating procedure to dispose of material there is no room to store, and could cause inflamed passions locally that could endanger the health and well being of troops in Afghanistan. No, they remembered well that many came here to this continent because of religious persecution. The U.S. Constitution was written to be a living entity that provided protection covering change and evolution of culture and life in these United States. The First Amendment protects, Christianity, Islam, the Latter Day Saints, Wicca, and any other religion of choice. And as the freedom of speech in that amendment works because people are accountable for the ramifications of their speech, people are responsible for the ramifications of their religious endeavors. Christianity evolves. Martin Luther was disgusted with the problems of Catholicism and sparked the Protestant Reformation. Islam evolves too. Many of it's believers and followers are hard working, decent people, many of which died in the destruction of 9-11 and serve proudly in the U.S. Armed Forces. It is better to recognize th goos aspects of Islam and dialog for change if one sees the need to do so in that faith - or Christianity too for that matter. There are over a billion Muslims all over the globe, you are not going to wipe that faith out. All intolerance and acts meant to denigrate, insult or belittle Islam just removes dialog and community between people who need this to make life better for everyone. Burning the Koran does nothing to hurt Islam. But it does make those doing it look backward, vicious and shallow, and is contrary to the spirit of the words of the Founding Fathers ensconced in the U.S. Constitution of the United States of America.
I've seen anarchists and extremists burn the flag, but never mainstream liberals. I myself am very liberal - and a veteran who lectures people at places like Goodwill and other second hand stores that do not fold used American Flags they have for sale properly. I have also complained when I see a government building with a worn out flag needing replacement. You are wrong here.

It is God's plan for salvation, not AKA Stone's. If you believe that God is who He says He is in the Bible than you know He is perfectly capable of saving souls without your direction or help. Paul instructs the wife of the unbeliever to win her husband over not with her words, but with her behavior. Of course its easier to tell someone they're going to hell than it is to consistently reflect God's love.
If you read the Bible you would know that God said not to even look at or consider evil. The Koran fits that category.
Could you do me a little favor and show me one post of yours where you have ever condemned the burning of the flag or a Bible. It happens all the time and you post regularly. It shouldn't be that hard for you to find. That way I can take you more seriously.
Actually, I do know. I was in Special Forces that is part of Special Operations Command which deals largely in low intensity conflict and the TM calls for shredding or burning of material that could compromise efforts to win hearts and minds in the commission of successfully achieving the overall mission in a conflict. There was nothing temperamental or hateful about this disposal. The Bibles were a problem in that it would of given Taliban combatants a potent tool to sustain and deepen the warfare into a wider conflict. If the Taliban had been able to access the Bibles, they would of spread them around to cause problems for us and give themselves a propaganda coup. They wouldn't of burned them. They want Christians to come spread Bibles around to help them alarm people enough so more support them allowing them to deepen and strengthen their efforts to kill our people and win their war. It was done to protect servicemen and women there, not to insult any religion. This falls directly in the lap of something I know well as part of corps I was in as an American Paratrooper.
I wouldn't equate burning a flag with burning a book regarded as holy. Also, I think the motives are different; flag burners are disappointed lovers while book burners seek to destroy ideas - the only way to ultimately destroy an idea is to destroy the person who holds it.
You didn't address that it was illegal for them to do that. The govt took a position that violated the first amendment. It was illegal and zero didn't do anything about it.

The last time I was at Fort Lewis and they sounded the music to denote thee lowering of the flag for the day, I a civilian now stopped my car when I saw others serving there doing so, and got out and stood in respect of the flag with my hand over my heart. People on active duty are to stop, stand at parade rest until the music noting the actual lowering starts, then are to snap to attention and salute.

I know that it isn't illegal. I know for a fact it is called for in the regulations to comprehensively and dispassionately remove any element that endangers servicemen and women and hurts the accomplishment of the mission.
Are you referring to the evangelical soldier who brought Bible to Afghanistan for the purpose of converting the locals in violation of military rules? As far as I know there is no rule forbidding members of the military from having their own personal Bible.
The violation is plain as day. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.[1] Mike the govt has a law that prohibited the free exercise of those servicemens religion. It is a violation.
