I always put quotation marks when quoting, even though the quote box does <.blockquote><.I> tags to differentiate the verbiage in that box from the words of the person making the post. I don't do it for anything more then to embarrass her into doing better. The addition of verbiage to throw off a search is a common tactic used to try to get away with this tactic. But usually - as in this case - the fluff is obvious and easy to cull to find the stolen material. As for the Mammy, I notice you taking exception to my appellation and not hers'. Which is fine, I have thick skin and her slight does not bother me. And having been married to an African American woman and having a mixed race son, I have had extended in-law family that used the word in a joking manner, so I have no intention of not using it.
