You are wrong to use the 'C' word. Especially after lecturing others on their language. You are also unable to separate the moderation chores from your own personal posting of opinion. You claim to have a forum that respects freedom of speech, but then you use your moderator's dashboard to give your opinions and advantage over others. I would say, give it a rest and stop worrying about what happens at 4UM. Worry about your own forum and stop knocking that place. I know it bothers the crap out of you you have no control over what is done over there, but you need to get over it and move on. The big deal you make of this is more damaging to you and your forum then the alleged problems Buck and company allegedly cause. Stone does not want to be banned again at 4UM. And when JT comes here his former job has given him skills and strengths. One strength JT has is discipline and doesn't violate his own scruples and has learned to temper his emotions. My real life activism has made it hard to get me angry or too excited in forum, and as I showed yesterday in MD's pederasty thread, I know how to say 'oops' when I err and won't compound problems with lies. I have a good sense of people in his former profession too from dealing with them and in my education of who they are, what they do and why, and usually can tell the good ones from the rogues and jerks. Like him or not, agree with him or not, he has all the characteristics of having been a good cop when he was with NYPD. I don't always agree with him politically, but I wish we had more people like him on the Eugene, OR police force. I don't dislike either him or Stone; but JT has allot more ability to do well online in forums. It's just the way it is, and if Stone can control his temper and deal with other roadblocks, there is no reason why he too can't do better.
