#18. To: All (#15) For any of you who are wondering why I am being more stringent about anti-semitic postings, here's the answer. [Like it or not like it, it is what it is.] The world has become much more antisemitic in the past 2 years.
There is no longer any room to discuss or disuade. Tolerance of Jews is decreasing all over the world, and as a result, there is no option but to decrease tolerance of any and all abuse of Jews and their/our beliefs here on LP.
Zionism is = to Judiasm. Underhanded /back door attacks of Jews labled as anti- zionist are not any different than full blown anti-semitism. It's just repackaged.
In a few days, it will be Rosh Hoshana. Next week will be Yom Kippur. This is not a time to trifle with me or my beliefs. Or any Jew's beliefs. This is the most important time of the year to us...and to me.
We (as Jews) respect Christmas, and Easter. We are tolerant and do not attack your faith. When did ANY Jew EVER deface a Church? When did any JEW ever attack a christian child? We revere life, and we respect others to worship as they choose. We expect the same respect and tolerance in return.
And on LP, I will not accept anything less.
