As to the "validity" of his faith, that's hardly YOUR, (or my or anybody else's call except GOD'S), is it?

I've read and studied the KJV cover to cover three times and am familar with the passage you referenced.
Beck makes beaucoup bucks being a public persona. That makes his religion or lack thereof fair game, especially when he uses it to pad his ratings and bank account.
I have listened to Beck and read one of his books.
Based on that information I conclude: (1) he is of average intelligence at best. (2) he is suffering from a case of perpetual adolescence. (3) he is an opportunist. (4) he is a hypocrite.
If a man is a opportunist and hypocrite in secular life, there is no reason to believe he is anything else when it comes to religion.
If he prays, they are the prayers of an apostate and a ticket to damnation.
Therefore, Beck can pray anytime, anyplace and it's fine with me.
