Likewise there are policies that have been put in place to address egregious wrongs - people not being able to vote, get medical help, etc. simply due to the color of their skin. These are good things, and I applaud them. But at some point, we have to say enough. Because - racism (like murder) is NEVER going to be completely extinguished. No matter how many laws are passed. Not as long as we remain human beings. At some point, the law of diminishing returns kicks in. Continuing this view that "we have NOT progressed past racism" and "more laws are needed" fits the bill.
