There's nothing you can say about boris; he's been flat-out insane for years. But watching Popeye the Mighty Mig Killer go on and on and on and on and on attacking sneaky and Leadpenny is just as crazy.
All in all, it looks like there are maybe four sane people left there.
No. My sister moved up there in the mid-70's. Her best friend at the time had moved from near there to Pittsburgh in 1968. My sister helped her move back, met a guy and ended up staying. We moved Mom up there in 2001 when she turned 80 because it was cheaper than anything we could find near me. She went into the nursing home last year. The Parkinson's became too much to manage.
It probably workled out for the best. Up there she weas able to move into a house net door to my sister. She would have been a couple of miles away here. And now she'd still be waiting for a bed.
One of my boyhood friends from NJ lives up there for many years now. I've visited the UP several times and can see the attraction many people have for it. One of my local pals is a Yooper and he's up there visiting his elderly parents. He's going to have to do something for his mother soon as Alzheimers is slowly taking its toll on her.
