To: Skip Intro (#0) BTW,for those of you who are too young to remember this era,by the early 1970's there were a LOT of VN combat veterans running around with long hair and attitudes,and the red necks had learned that not all long-hairs are pacifists and they they had to be VERY careful about which ones to jump. I used to love to request this song when I was loaded and in a bad frame of mind,and then actually back some of them up against the wall and sing to them. It got to the point where a semi-local band (Sutters Gold Street Band) would start dedicating this song "to the long-haired hippies sitting at that table up front" when they wanted to liven the place up. Another crowd favorite that Sutters did really well and that was VERY popular late at night was this one.
