I have seen and heard more from our President than I want since Inauguration Day. It is next to impossible to turn on the radio and/or TV and not see or hear his monotonous, repetitive campaign type ramblings. What I am seeing and hearing is about what I expected from this unqualified President based on his campaign rhetoric. But the campaign is over; it is time to govern. There is more evidence every day that his over exposure and incompetence is having a similar effect on most clear thinking citizens. The latest USA Today Gallup poll indicates that his approval rating is at an all-time low of 41%! Monday he gave a talk in Georgia. The man-child continued his immature mantra of placing blame for his failed policies on others i.e. George W. Bush, the Republicans in Congress, and anyone else that might disagree with him. He said the Republicans have offered no solutions to our problems, not one. This assertion is blatantly false! Solutions have been offered, but he has demonstrated a closed mind to anything that does not fit his redistribution ideology. He seems unable to accept criticism and takes legitimate disagreements as personal affronts. Equality in a free society is impossible. Equality is not the answer; freedom is the answer.
This President has controlling majorities in both the House and Senate. Bills have been passed and signed into law against the will of the governed e.g.. the so-called Stimulus Bill, Health Care Reform, Wall Street Reform, etc. The Stimulus Bill has failedunemployment is near 10% and his own economic advisors and the Federal Reserve recently suggested it most likely will reach 12% in the next year or two. The more we learn about Health Care Reform the more it seems those who opposed it were correct. Deficits topped $1 trillion in June and the Congressional Budget Office projects they will reach $1.47 trillion by the end of the fiscal year in September.
Candidate Obama was elected on his promise of Hope and Change. Hope is dwindling. The Change we are seeing does not seem to be what many of those who made the colossal mistake in voting for him were expecting. I am convinced it is time for this arrogant, boastful President to accept responsibility for his failures, and change course! So far in his term I have not seen indications he is willing to do that voluntarily, so the best chance for we the people to force that change of course and take our country back is at the ballot box this November.
