Obama has once again admitted he sucks. . . well, sort of. While having lunch with some of his fellow Democrats he told them he'd be willing to help them earn re-elections in November, even if that meant staying away from their campaigns.
This, in my opinion, is an admission that he knows he is unpopular with the people, and that he is running this country in a manner contrary to the opinion of the populace.
“You may not even want me to come to your district,” Obama said.
This means Obama will try to help them from afar, but due to his great unpopularity, he will not be arriving in their districts to make speeches.
The New York Times says that this is a real shift. He has gone from being a hot draw, to something not so hot. . . Amazing what happens when Americans are finally exposed to the truth, and realized that Obama is a socialist, Marxist, commie, liberal, progressive. . .
The fact that two veteran House Democrats are now facing public hearings on ethics charges probably isn't helping either.
Charles Rangel and Maxine Waters have found themselves in deep water, and the Democrats have so far acted as if it is no big deal - but as the election nears, I expect the Democrats who are on the ballot to distance themselves significantly from Rangel, Waters, and Barack Obama.
I also fully expect the Democrats to return to the tactic that worked so well for them last time, which is blaming George W. Bush for everything. The voters are smarter than that, and will not fall for that ridiculous strategy again. Now the issues will be front and center, and a progressive's inability to debate in the arena of ideas will make the election very difficult for the Democrats.
Regardless of Obama's offer to stay away, some of the Democrats are still stupid enough to request help from Obama and his team. They will, no doubt, be slaughtered in November.
