Why did you post that gay porn? "I posted a photo of a dog crapping on tyhe Mexican flag, jerx. I can't help what you prefer to view or see.
Not a preference...it's a substitution of the original pic with porn.
Don't use that site again for pictures."
Just a short note on the debacle of Yukon's porn post. I saved all of the info, pics, links, LP page source code, then back tracked to take a harder look at what went wrong.
The problem as I view, is the dog image grabbed by Yukon have shown, that the image source code was actually "hotlinked" to another server, which made an easy target for misdirection, hence the porn pic. Yukon probably error-ed when he didn't first view what he grabbed, but unstead posted it. Because, surely, had he had given it peek first, and then what would have popped up on his screen, he would have immediately stopped from proceeding any further.
I ran all of the situations, with the same images, and links availible, and easily ended up with same scenarios as what happened to Yukon.
To continue to accuse Yukon of blantanly posting porn images, is false, because the mistake that happened here, could have easily happen to anyone of us that post images. I personally don't like to "hotlink," but instead save, then upload images to an imaging server. Also, I believe the lesson learned here is, before pushing the "Post It" button, everyone should first view what they're planning to post.
For a short tutorial on what "Hotlinking" means; what to look for; what to avoid:
Have a good day to all...
