WASHINGTON – With the strong backing of President Obama, Sen. Ron Wyden pressed Monday to find Republicans to support campaign reform legislation requiring corporate CEOs, labor leaders and directors of special interests to appear in – and take credit for – any political ad they finance. The Senate is scheduled to vote on the bill Tuesday. The push came as the Senate was poised to vote Tuesday to break a Republican filibuster on the Disclose Act, which is designed to give voters a clear understanding of who is financing third-party campaign commercials. The bill would also prohibit foreign corporations from sponsoring political ads in the United States.

Are Republicans saying that if the speaker is identified then free speech is denied? And what about foreign corporations - should they be allowed to buy their way into our elections?
Do you also believe in the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy? I thought McClown Feingold was supposed to fix this, anyway. So we keep piling law upon law upon law - and the Soros' and the GEs and the unions keep finding ways around them. But that's okay, right? 'cuz they support Ds! You partisan hacks kill me. Just how many laws and regulations is it going to take for us to get to your perfect society?

SCOTUS decided McCain Feingold violated the corporations right to free speech by putting a limit on corporate funding of media ads for candidates. and the Soros' and the GEs and the unions keep finding ways around them. But that's okay, right? 'cuz they support Ds! Well, I guess you think its alright.
Sure you do. Since you have posted that you believe that corporations should have the same rights as individuals. And all individuals in the US whether foreign or domestic are guaranteed certain rights. Why do you hate the constitution so much?

As I've said before, if it were up to me there would be damn few (read none) limits on campaign contributions. Only a requirement that there be full disclosure. I disagree 110% with George Soros. If full disclosure was in place, and I was aware that Soros contributed 6 billion dollars to a candidate or cause, then it's likely that I wouldn't support that candidate or cause. Capiche? Partisan hacks write regulations that punish opponents and allow supporters. That's why ANY so-called CFR coming out of the political environment now will inevitably favor unions, ambulance chasers, environmental wackos, and globalist billionaires like Soros. Likewise, when and if the GOP gets to write regulations, they'll write regulations that favor whatever brain-dead supporters they have. And those will be just as bad as the ones the demwits wrote. What is so hard to understand about this?

I'll spell it out for you. F-O-L-L-O-W T-H-E M-O-N-E-Y Everyone - whether they be oil industry reps or environmenalist wackos or anyone in between - is motivated by greed. Sugarcoating it with platitudes like "free speech" and "first amendment" is just their way of generating bullshit for their braindead supporters. But I don't expect you - with your statist blinders on - to grasp that simple point.
