The National Organization for Women began in 1966. They were all for equal rights and equal pay for women. They encouraged all women to be independent and speak out for themselves. What the hell happened? Now NOW is for pro-infanticide and they crucify any woman who speaks her mind who doesn’t agree with their far left ideology. They were merciless against Sarah Palin. Here we had a woman with a great career and a great family but because she was pro-life, she wasn’t a feminist. Love her or hate her she is still one kick ass woman. I’m sorry but when did feminism become solely about abortion?Sarah Palin The women’s movement was going on long before women like Gloria Steinem. Women have been helping others since the beginning of time. The suffragettes helped black men get the vote before they were even allowed to vote. Women have been fighting for fairness for everyone for years. Yet where is the fairness with the feminists now? What happened to sticking up for all sisters and supporting each other regardless of what we believe? What happened to going for it and succeeding regardless of what lot you chose in life?
We have feminists who put women down for being stay-at-home Moms. We have feminists who put women down for getting plastic surgery. We have feminists who put women down for being pro-life. What exactly do we have as women? A group of far left liberal shrills who have an extremely narrow minded vision of what THEY believe a feminist looks like and what they should believe? They stopped believing in the original feminist movement many years ago. They lost their vision so long ago that they have become completely irrelevant for women today.
Groups like NOW empower no one. NOW is nothing more than a movement taken over by fascists. Anyone who does not agree with them must be destroyed. They are no longer women but liberals. They are no longer for equality but for discrimination. They have completely reversed their original ideology by attacking the very women who represent everything they originally fought for back in the 60s.
Liberal women are killing the feminist movement. They are reversing everything that so many women fought for. They are derisive and divisive. That is completely opposite of what the women’s movement was all about. Rather than rallying behind and around each other as women, they are behaving like uncouth, unrelenting and ignorant morons. NOW is LATER. There is no use for this group in 2009. They serve no purpose and they have no future. The very women who started the feminist movement have the written the obituary for the feminist movement. By politicizing feminism, they killed feminism.
