Mexican Invasion Title: We're Being Cheated We're Being Cheated By Frosty Wooldridge 6-12-6 How's immigration doing in your city or state? In Colorado, immigration adds four million people in 60 years, which will place our state in a water crisis we won't be able to solve. We'll be 'eating' the Brown Cloud over Denver with every breath because it will double in toxicity. Gridlock traffic will paralyze transportation. Our schools already suffer 67 percent drop out/flunk out rates in Denver Public Schools. It's already happening and that's why the 'white flight' articles showed Denver parents taking their kids away from schools inundated with illegal alien kids. The fact stands that 60 percent of Mexican illegals quit school before graduating. That kind of classroom degrades education for Coloradan students. But what really fries me about proponents of illegal immigration in Denver and super rich places like Vail--is their support of lawlessness. It stands against everything this society is based upon. Illegal proponents engage in lawlessness because it is a federal crime to "... aid, assist, encourage, or in any way help an illegal alien to remain in the United States no matter what your personal convictions." It's a crime that fines employers $2,000 for every illegal alien hired and up to five years in prison. Yet, we've got so much fraud going on in Denver and Vail it's sickening. We're being defrauded by employers who hire illegals, by landlords who house them, income tax cheats who pay under the table, by welfare cheats who assist illegals and destroyed classroom education. Those assisting illegals cost us $564.1 million annually for education, $40 million for prison costs housing convicted illegals and $38.4 million for anchor babies and related medical costs. Denver City Council's 'Sanctuary Policy' got Officer Don Young killed as well as Justin Goodman. John Hickenlooper hired illegal aliens long before he became mayor. If the police had been doing their jobs and filling out the immigration status on Gomez or Goodman's killer by sending them over to ICE, Young and Goodman would be alive. How about CU quarterback John Hessler who lives in a wheelchair? How about the eight women raped by illegal aliens working in Boulder two years ago? How about the death of Boulder's Dale Englerth last September by illegal Francisco Montero? It's wrong and it's against federal law. It makes the Denver and Boulder City Councils complicit in death and damage to Coloradan citizens. Mark Twain, in 1855 talked about 'silent assertion': "Almost all lies are acts," he said. "I am speaking of the lie of 'silent-assertion.' It would not be possible for a humane and intelligent person to invent a rational excuse for slavery; yet you will remember that in the early days of emancipation in the North, agitators got small help from anyone. They could not break the universal stillness that reigned from the pulpit and pressed all the way down to the bottom of society the clammy stillness created and maintained by the lie of silent assertion that there wasn't anything going on in which intelligent people were interested. "The conspiracy of the silent-assertion lie is hard at work always and everywhere, and always in the interest of a stupidity (unlimited growth) or sham (illegal immigration), never in the interest of the respectable (average citizens). It is the shabbiest of all lies. The silent-assertion is that nothing is going on which fair and intelligent men and women are aware of and are engaged by their duty to try to stop." Across America, the lie of silent-assertion accelerates in every sector of our country. It's a lawlessness that moves and embeds itself into the fabric of our society. It undermines our integrity and our character. Four aspects maintain this civilization: First, we sustain our society with an educated population. Second, we must all buy into a similar moral code. Third, we must maintain a similar ethical system that all of us buy into. Fourth, we must maintain a single language in order to discuss, debate and come to solutions for all Americans. We are losing all four with this massive immigration influx. What's going on in Colorado portends Third World similarities because our law enforcement and elected officials refuse to stand up against this growing, lawless cancer in our state and country--illegal immigration. Like the people on the Titanic, we're going to pay and nothing will help us once we hit 'critical mass' of this lawless population iceberg. What's happening in your city? Here's a letter from a reader who doesn't like it: "We live in western Kansas about 30 miles from the Colorado border. We are very concerned about the illegal immigration. That issue has desecrated our small local hospital that has to take in all those people having babies, wrecks on I-70, stabbings, shootings, etc. Taxpayers are picking up the tab which is enormous. The mess has to be stopped! We have many Mexicans or whatever you call them here in Goodland and there is nothing for them to do but get on welfare and other freebies, and reduced lunches or free lunches at school, free clothes at the Thrift Shop, the food bank, and on and on. They bring all their relatives and dozens live in one house. They refuse to speak English. I am sick of it. They get food stamps and free medicine from Wal-Mart. What is going to happen to our once great country that my own grandparents helped to settle out here? When will this madness end? I think it is too late with a traitor in the White House and do nothing Congress. They kowtow to the large corporations that are running this country and should be punished for hiring these fools. I have personally seen them at the post office getting large money orders to send back to Mexico. We live in a country gone MAD."
