Wasilla, AK, United States (AHN) - While Levi Johnston's mom and sister want to be invited to his wedding, fiancée Bristol Palin's famous mom won't attend it. According to a new report, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has refused to attend her eldest daughter's wedding.
Last week, Bristol and Levi shocked the world by announcing that they are not only back together, they are also set to be married again after breaking off their engagement last year.
The young parents of 18-month-old Tripp even made the announcement in tabloid Us magazine before telling both their parents.
As everyone knows, Levi blasted Sarah after his engagement and relationship with Bristol failed, calling the Republican darling a liar among other things. He has apparently made his peace with the whole Palin clan and apologized publicly to them.
But Sarah still isn't at peace with her second child's impending marriage to the man who lambasted her name in public.
A Palin insider told Pop Eater, "It's going to be the wedding of the century in Alaska. Our version of Princess Diana and Prince Charles' wedding. Everyone would kill to get an invite even if it means having to buy them an expensive gift. It's just too bad that her mother has refused to attend."
But while Sarah has boycotted Bristol's wedding, husband Todd will still be walking the 19-year-old down the aisle.
A friend told the website, "With or without Sarah, Todd will be walking his daughter down the aisle. He has been looking forward to this day ever since Bristol was a little girl and wouldn't miss it for anything or anyone. Bristol has told her mom she doesn't even want a wedding present just her mom to attend."
