How would you like a bozo like this handing out revenue tickets where you drive? There's a bunch of them. This clown told me he didn't know of any officers who drank on duty. Hell, I know where the cops used to park and sober up for maybe four hours tops before going on duty. And by the way when I was in college the cops stopped by PO'd the traffic lights were out and I gave them a couple of drafts. Power was down and they were pissed because they had to direct traffic. It was almost noon, about 11AM, a lot less than they drank after hours. Head up the ass syndrome. To: mininggold (#10) I thought he was getting ready to retire but he posted once that if any of his cops came in drunk they would be fired. Hell, I knew where the cops slept in the parking lot of the police station before work and after bar hours to be ready for their 7AM shift here. They needed a wakeup call sometimes. Took the back way home from work one Friday just to count cops hiding, a good idea, saves gas and they were all near exits to the Beltway. Only 10 cars in 8 miles. What got me started was I found 4 hiding at the same place behind a store where few people would even bother to look. That area has since been fenced off, so they can't get back there. One place I was surprised to find they weren't hiding was back behind a Safeway store up a narrow alley to a four business office complex hidden near the city limits in Baltimore, if you didn't know it was there you'd never find it. Police supply store was one, insurance agency another, and of all things a SW company that worked on games for the Apple. That's where Castle Wolfenstein was developed. You may have heard of the sequel based on the same code called DOOM. The company went out of business and let the SW rights expire and ID software out of Texas picked them up for free IIRC. Except for the first four a whole bunch of the other 10 weren't far away from the police stations.
