This is not a neo-con position, it's libertarian position. The neo-cons like Kristol understand this, which is why they hate him just like they hate is father.
Insofar as the nuke quote about Iran is concerned -- he's right, you never take any options off of the table. It doesn't mean he would initiate a nuclear attack on Iran. It means that he wouldn't rule out using nuclear weapons if they attacked us.
Trust me, this guy is no neo-con. He's a libertarian, who unlike is father doesn't turn every question into a ideological education session.
