To: WhiteSands (#21) You need to understand Paul's perspective to properly interpret the quotes. Rand Paul wouldn't put trade restrictions on any country. Rand Paul wouldn't tell any government what to do with regards to its security. This is not a neo-con position, it's libertarian position. The neo-cons like Kristol understand this, which is why they hate him just like they hate is father. Insofar as the nuke quote about Iran is concerned -- he's right, you never take any options off of the table. It doesn't mean he would initiate a nuclear attack on Iran. It means that he wouldn't rule out using nuclear weapons if they attacked us. Trust me, this guy is no neo-con.
