"My short skirt is not an invitation for rape." What a bunch of bull.
There are a few things I want to go over with this time. Just in case you couldn't tell, I'm feeling a little cranky and miserable now, so I will be less subtle than usual. Blatant and ranting accusations always make a more enjoyable read anyway.
First, there is no real reason for a girl to wear a short skirt other than to attract boys. Thus, short skirt really is an invitation for rape. Some girls like to say that they wear short skirts (and bikini tops) because the weather is too warm, but that is just a lie. Adding five more inches to your skirt (and wearing a tanktop of some sort) can't possibly make you any warmer. Besides, what's a little heat if it can save you from being raped? Boys can make it through the day with their knee-length shorts. Why can't girls? Are girls truly weaker than boys in every sense of the word?
Next, some feminists (I'm not sure if these are the true ones or the false ones, but the latter certainly are ubiquitous) like to believe that women should be able to go around naked without boys ogling at them. This is just idiotic. I'm not sure what they did during sex ed back in the days, but there is one fact that even little children would know: boys and girls are just different. Boys have things that girls don't, and vice versa. Accept that. There is also something called "cultural conditioning." I don't know about other cultures, but the American culture is especially obsessed with sex, and most American boys like scantily-clad girls. Let that sink into your brain and figure out what it means. Sure, you can try to fight the culture, but I doubt you'd be successful any time soon.
Finally, let's go back to how boys and girls are different. See, it is a well-known facts that most boys are mindless idiots who are mainly controlled by testosterone. Their penises do the most thinking. Girls, on the other hand, have actual brains and generally are smarter than boys--or so I've been told. If this is so, it's unfair to blame boys for incidents of rapes. Girls should also take some responsibility. I know from experience that most boys don't hit on girls who dress somewhat decently and whose gestures do not indicate that they want more. If you don't want to be raped, stop dressing like a skank on a daily basis. Also, stop crossing the line when flirting. It's mean to tease the penis when you don't really want to do anything.
There are also many cases where a boy and a girl get a little too drunk one night and wake up with regrets in which I fail to see why the girl has the right to say that she's been raped when she's as much at fault as the boy is. This is just annoying. Why are feminists--or, hell, people in general--so selective when it comes to complete equality?
