No Al Gore, Obama to Attend Chelsea Wedding
Former Vice President Al Gore will not be attending the wedding of Chelsea Clinton, according to the British Daily Mail newspaper, but preparations are already underway for a rumored appearance by President Barack Obama.
The daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton is scheduled to marry investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, 31, at the former estate of millionaire businessman John Jacob Astor IV in Rhinebeck, upstate New York.
Amid a slew of new accusations that Gore sexually assaulted a masseuse, and his impending divorce from wife Tipper, a spokeswoman told the Mail that neither will be turning up.
There are clear signs, though, that President Barack Obama may attend, according to the paper. Nothing is likely to be confirmed because of security arrangements.

The wedding will take place on July 31 in front of an intimate party of just 400 guests.
It is thought that Chelsea, 30, will be wearing an Oscar de la Renta or Vera Wang dress.
The venue was originally commissioned by Astor in 1902 and across 50 acres now boasts an indoor tennis court, a ballroom-size main hall, a white marble swimming pool and a facade modeled on Louis XIV's Grand Trianon at Versailles.
In the heart of Democrat country, it has been re-designed by the great-grandson of legendary architect Stanford White at the bequest of current owner Kathleen Hammer, a wealthy TV producer.
Astor brought shame upon his established family name when he left wife Ava for 18-year-old Madeleine Talmage-Force, and the couple had to flee to Egypt and Europe to escape the publicity, returning only when she fell pregnant, the Mail reported.
