Voters trust Republicans more than Democrats on nine out of 10 key issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports.

The latest national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows voters trust Republicans more by a 48% to 39% margin on the economy, an issue that has consistently been the most important among voters for several years.

Republicans have held the advantage on the economy since May of last year.

Democrats still hold a slight edge over the GOP on another top issue, government ethics and corruption. While 33% of voters trust Democrats more on these issues, 29% trust Republicans more. However, the plurality (38%) is not sure which party to trust more. Democrats have held modest leads on the issue for five months after the parties were tied in January.

Government ethics has twice edged out the economy in the past two years in terms of importance among voters.

However, a Rasmussen video report shows that 40% of voters see the Obama administration as being less ethical than past administrations.

More than 50% of voters nationwide trust the GOP more on the issues of national security, taxes and health care.

With each passing week, and month, the anger grows towards this congress and this Administration.

November is going to be a landslide for the GOP.

Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit.

Here's a Key Issue:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

In other words, The First Amendment protects a fundamental right of the “We the People” by prohibiting the Government from infringing upon the freedom of the press.

It assures that Freedom of Speech is not violated by making sure that the media can operate without the interference from an overreaching Government.

Yet that is exactly what we are seeing here, interference by the Government on behalf of a corporation that is directly infringing upon the Freedom of Press.

When't the GObP gonna protect us on this one? LMFAO 8D

Nearly ALL Clean Up workers from the XOM Valdez are now dead.

Coming to a Gulf Coast near you. See BP/US bans respirators for details.

As long as we continue to sit idle it will continue to happen.

To steal a line from Rick Barry, “Your silence speaks volumes.”

Our women and children will get sick from going to beaches the Government tells us are safe.

A plague of cancer and other disease will be the result of inadequate seafood safety requirements that haven’t detected a single piece of contaminated seafood while scientist warn us that they are seeing evidence that the entire food chain is becoming contaminated.

The Government will continue to hide the true location of the oil which has now been confirmed in the Gulf Stream and up the entire East Coast of Florida whether the Government admits to it or not.

The Government will continue to assure the media and the public that clean up operations are underway that really aren’t while oil continues to assault the Gulf Coast and everyone know that there should be super tankers out there sucking up this mess.

The reason the our founding fathers gave us the basic rights of Freedom of Press and Freedom of Speech was to prevent such things from happening.

But don’t be alarmed as you watch those same rights which have been provided to you in Constitution disappear into a black cloud of smoke before your very eyes.

Here's what your GObP has planned for you:

By Rebecca Mowbray, The Times-Picayune July 04, 2010, 6:10AM As the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta tries to anticipate what the economic impact of the Gulf oil disaster will be, it's been searching for models that will help economists understand the rhythm of the event. So far, the Atlanta Fed is coming up empty-handed. "This is an entirely different animal altogether," said Mike Chriszt, assistant vice president for..

http://www.nola.com/news/gulf-oil-spill/index.ssf/2010/07/residents_of_small_coastal_tow.html

From Ixtoc, 1979:

Many people in their 60s and 70s who lived through the Ixtoc spill supplement their income today by working odd jobs.

"We make do however we can," Zapata said, taking a break from caring for his customers' parked cars. "If oil were to end, we'd just move on to the next thing."

Some people have stayed with shrimp. Casanova, Hernandez and other cooperative members make their living farming the critters, reproducing them in huge tubs that can hold about 58,000 gallons of water.

The tubs employ no more than three people and generate about 3 tons of shrimp every six months, which are sold at a rate of about $2.37 a pound, Hernandez said.

It's a living, though it isn't as lucrative as shrimping in the Bay of Campeche once was. Before Pemex began closing off large stretches of the Gulf, shrimp crews used to be able to haul in 3 tons in 15 days, Hernandez and Casanova said.
