Title: Ann Coulter Gets A Lesson In Hurling Invective

Ann Coulter has a reputation for being a smart mouth with a thorough contempt for civil discourse - and a bewildering disinterest in actual evidence. For example, this is what she says about climate change:

"There are more reputable scientists defending astrology than defending 'global warming'."

As if she would know ....

But for pure smartness of mouth, you gotta love Allan Rock, the former Liberal cabinet minister who now sits as the President of the University of Ottawa. Rock, in commenting on his concerns that Coulter was going to speak at his university, offered this, just-released assessment:

"Ann Coulter is a mean-spirited, small-minded, foul-mouthed poltroon. She is ‘the loud mouth that bespeaks the vacant mind.'

“She is an ill-informed and deeply offensive shill for a profoundly shallow and ignorant view of the world. She is a malignancy on the body politic. She is a disgrace to the broadcasting industry and a leading example of the dramatic decline in the quality of public discourse in recent times."

For the record.

Ann Coulter is an American constitutional attorney, conservative social and political commentator, author, and syndicated columnist. She frequently appears on television, radio, and as a speaker at public and private events.

She is also the author of seven books, all of which have appeared on New York Times Best Seller list!

And you are 'Alan' who???

Ann Coulter is an American constitutional attorney

What case has she argued before the SCOTUS? Her only experience in private practice was as an associate at a minor corporate law firm where she was not on the partner track.

Little man, if I posted she argued before the SCOTUS, then show it. As far as her experience in private practice (NY), you don't know SQUAT what she did there, and even if you did, you wouldn't dare post it, instead of facts, you're too busy scrounging around for discouraging/nasty opinions from jealous, anonymous nobodies, present company excepted!

******************************************

As an undergraduate in Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences, Ann Coulter helped to launch a conservative newspaper, The Cornell Review, with funding provided by the Institute for Educational Affairs' Collegiate Network. She graduated cum laude from Cornell in 1984, and went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was an editor of The Michigan Law Review.

At law school, Coulter shared an apartment with the human and civil rights advocate Cindy Cohn who is now the Legal Director for the Electronic Frontier Foundation. At Michigan, she founded a local chapter of the Federalist Society.

She also received training at the National Journalism Center. After practicing corporate law for four years, she became a congressional aide in Washington, D. C. in 1994, working as a staffer to Republican Senator Spencer Abraham, who served on the Senate Judiciary Committee before working for a public interest law firm.

Coulter served as a law clerk, in Kansas City, for Pasco Bowman II of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

After a short time working in New York City in private practice, where she specialized in corporate law, Coulter left to work for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee after the Republican Party took control of Congress in 1994. She handled crime and immigration issues for Senator Spencer Abraham of Michigan and helped craft legislation designed to expedite the deportation of aliens convicted of felonies. She later became a litigator with the Center for Individual Rights.

Her newspaper column is distributed nationally by Universal Uclick. Coulter writes a weekly legal column in the influential conservative weekly Human Events in which she discusses judicial rulings, constitutional issues and legal matters affecting Congress and the executive branch. Her syndicated column for Universal Press is featured on six conservative websites: Human Events Online, WorldNetDaily, Townhall.com, FrontPageMag, Jewish World Review and her own website, and local newspapers.

I've met Ann Coulter and YOU posted that she is a Constitutional lawyer.

I know the firm that she worked for and they do not do Constitutional law. They are do commerical law.

So why don't YOU buck up anything that validates YOUR claim that she is a constitutionial lawyer.

Thanks.

I'll not go over what I've posted since I have not posted anything that's not true, and if any of it is not true, show me to be a liar, you're like me, you have access to the internet, prove otherwise homer, in the mean time, I'll just refer you to my tag, it fits you perfect!

Chuckles...Goldi's Rule. Am I censoring you and denying you free speech too?

Again YOU posted that she IS a Constitutional Lawyer. That point is being challenged. She claims to have worked for the Center for Individual Rights as a litigator. What case did she litigate?

In 2001, Coulter was named one of the top 100 Public Intellectuals by federal judge Richard Posner.

A Connecticut native, Coulter graduated with honors from Cornell University School of Arts & Sciences, and received her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School, where she was an editor of The Michigan Law Review.

Coulter clerked for the Honorable Pasco Bowman II of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and was an attorney in the Department of Justice Honors Program for outstanding law school graduates.

After practicing law in private practice in New York City, Coulter worked for the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she handled crime and immigration issues for Senator Spencer Abraham of Michigan. From there, she became a litigator with the Center For Individual Rights in Washington, DC, a public interest law firm dedicated to the defense of individual rights with particular emphasis on freedom of speech, civil rights, and the free exercise of religion.

fyi.

And she is a 'constitutional scholar' despite the dwarf's protests.
