Locally, I vote for who I think is best capable of serving my community, occasionally its a Democrat. Most of the time it isn't. At one point I sponsored another political website for about a year. I'm a Veteran of the United States Navy, 1977 - 1981. I'm a gun owner, and both my wife and I target shoot on a regular basis on our property (combat handgunning for want of a better term.) I'm a political junkie, of that there is no doubt, with no plans to enter Betty Ford to cure it.....(grin) In short, I'm the nightmare of Liberals everywhere. Self made, very happy with my life, with no instances of needing a government teat in my mouth for survival. I like Liberals because they provide me with excellent verbal target practice on a daily basis, and lets be honest, there is no such thing as a smart liberal. ~~~~~~~~ For the record, Boofer has never authored ONE book let alone several. He has never had a talk show either. He voted as a republican in the 2000 and 2006 elections. So his bullshit about being a lifelong independent is that...bullshit. He sponsored Pipe for about three months and then never paid Bill another dime but Bill kept Boof's banner up. Then, when Boofer got into a pissing match with another poster, he huffed out his chest and announced that he was pulling his sponsorship. To Bill Mayer's credit, he yanked the ad and booted Boofer's ass off of the site. I believe that his record of being the "anti-truthie" speaks loud and long for itself. As for me, I got booted from lucianne and have since re-registered there and post from time to time as a parody of Mark Levin. I was booted from Pipe during the night of the Wailing Bill. I was booted from 4um for having the nerve to challenge Jethro Tull's right to be an asshole. Boofer hasn't even been allowed to register at 4um. Although, the way he felates Tull that might change. Boofer's LP meltdown is infamous. And there are several other sites at which he is not welcome. I got banned after a month or so for linking Free Republic as a source when I first signed on (who knew that was taboo) and then used a different name for the rest of the time I was there. I never ran afoul of her but there was a software glitch at the site that would allow you to hit the "back" arrow and continue posting on a thread without having to go back out and then back in. I did this on a thread that had closed while I was posting and Lucianne [Trixie] accused me of hacking into her site. I think it's hilarious that I re-registered there after the Pipe purgings in 2002 under the same email address I used originally. No one has been the wiser...but it is a pretty dull site.
