Americans who have been laid off and forced to train their foreign H-1B visa replacements say there is “no shortage” of qualified U.S. workers for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) jobs. Center for Immigration Studies’ Matthew Sussis published a series of statements from Americans who have been replaced by foreign H-1B visa workers that were made during a conference call with Rep. Paul Gosar (R- AZ) and Sara Blackwell’s Protect U.S. Workers. Every year, more than 100,000 foreign workers are brought to the U.S. on the H-1B visa and are allowed to stay for up to six years.
