Faced with new allegations of domestic abuse including sexual battery, Libertarian Party lightning rod and avowed ultranationalist Augustus Sol Invictus has been both lashing out at his enemies for what he calls slander and pursuing a deal he says will heal his reputation and his relationship with the party. Invictus, who ran as a candidate for the Libertarian Party of Floridas U.S. Senate nomination but lost in the primary, was accused in a March 21 report filed with the Edgewood Police Department by an unidentified woman. She said that during their 15-month relationship that ended early this year he repeatedly verbally, physically and sexually assaulted her, and even ...
You Got Trumped! Trump rapidly losing strongest supporters Post Date: 2017-04-30 14:42:40 by Deckard

Maybe Trump didnt realize that all of his supporters actually expected him to deliver on all of his hard-edged statements. Or maybe he was Trojan Trump from the get go, just as I postulated many months ago to the outrage of many of my fellow anti-establishment readers who wanted to believe Trump was their champion. (I sympathize with them and understand their hopes, but have never seen such a self-aggrandizing narcissist as likely to fulfill that role.) The Trump election upset is turning out to be more upsetting to his supporters than to his critics. As Michael Savage says below, their world has turned upside down. The biggest problem seems to be that Trump is ...

There are valid reasons to be concerned by a presidents earnings, including after their tenure in the Oval Office. Where a former commander-in-chief earns his or her incomeand the company they choose to keep after serving as the leader of the free worldcould speak to their basic values in a way policies and legislation cannot. So when some Americans, including Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, saw former President Barack Obama accepting $400,000 speeches from Wall Street, signing book deals worth $65 million and vacationing with billionaires off the coast of Tahiti in a $300 million yacht, you can bet they were perplexed. How could it be that Obama, the ...

The United States Libertarian Party is a strange beast. It has a wide following within the movement and is comfortably the countrys third largest party. Yet, its had little meaningful electoral success in the decades of its existence. Smaller parties in other countries, with far less widespread support have managed to convert their core base into electoral breakthrough; so, what is causing this failure in the Libertarian Party? Servant of Many Masters Part of the problem is the dual mandate the party has given itself to both compete in elections and be an educator on libertarian principles and policy. A political party, by its nature, is distinct from any think tank, ...

Libertarians and anarchists often get challenged with an annoying question, Warren Redlich, the CEO of Independent Political Report and a former Libertarian Party candidate, recently wrote: If libertarianism is so great, why hasnt any country tried it? [1] There is no doubt that the question has been asked often, and that it is meant to be annoying. Consider the source: Michael Lind. Lind, for those who have never heard of him, is a writer for the New America Foundation who has achieved some online notoriety as a professional anti-libertarian. (A google search on Lind libertarianism turns up more than 100,000 hits.) Lind first came to my attention ...

President Donald Trump on Saturday marked his 100th day in office by saying he had brought "profound change" to Washington and reaffirming that "my only allegiance" is to those he governs. On a threshold that Trump has both derided and tried to define, the president also said he is putting Americans first even as he learns on the job. "My only allegiance is to you, our wonderful citizens," Trump said in his weekly radio address. It was a preview of a day on which Trump was traveling to Pennsylvania to emphasize such priorities as American manufacturing, better trade deals for the U.S. and his underdog victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton in November. Pope Francis Warns Against ‘Invasion’ of Libertarianism Post Date: 2017-04-29 18:45:45 by Gatlin

Pope Francis had harsh words to describe libertarians Friday, saying they deny the value of the common good in favor of radical selfishness where only the individual matters. I cannot fail to speak of the grave risks associated with the invasion of the positions of libertarian individualism at high strata of culture and in school and university education, the Pope said in an message sent to members of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences meeting in the Vatican and subsequently shared with Breitbart News. A common characteristic of this fallacious paradigm is that it minimizes the common good, that is the idea of living well or the good life in ...

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perezs announcement that pro-lifers are not welcome in his party has planted the seeds of rebellion among some Democrats and sharpened the view that the party is now primarily defined by its embrace of abortion on demand. Every Democrat, like every American, should support a womans right to make her own choices about her body and her health, Perez said, as the HuffPost reported. That is not negotiable and should not change city by city or state by state. Perezs comments came after the DNC decided to support Heath Mello in the Omaha, Nebraska, mayoral race. Egypt: U.S. Troops Watch Islamic Terrorists Slaughter Christians Post Date: 2017-04-29 07:13:57 by HomerBohn

Egypt continues struggling in fighting against Islamic terrorism, with many jihadist attacks focused on Christians. Yet even as U.S. troops are stationed in the Sinai Peninsula, they do not assist Egyptian forces and instead watch the slaughter of Christians. Furthermore, no one has demanded that they stop the violence. And no one has accused the U.S. of being morally irresponsible for doing nothing. Theres a reason for this lack of action. But the lack of action also demonstrates how the U.S. has no obligation to stop every problem in the world and that it has no desire to do so when Christians are the victims. Back in 2013, I forecasted that the U.S. intervening in Syria ...

It doesnt matter how many investigations she blocks or how many scandals she tries to cover up we all know Hillary Clinton is guilty as sin. According to an NBC News report released in 2013, while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, she stopped the investigation into a pedophile ring of elites in the State Department. She did this to protect the careers of an ambassador and other officials and prevent a scandal. This news report came when NBC still had a shred of integrity instead of being the liberal lap dogs we know them as today. They presented several memos that came from the State Department to back up their claims of the cover-up of the elite pedophile ...
