Midway through the 90-day 'fundraising' grift, FR has crashed today. To me, this is a bit early to schedule the outage, as it may not instill sufficient panic amongst the acolytes. But that $88k just has to be scooped up this quarter before the next round starts July 1. And after all these years, all those millions of dollars, you STILL can't edit a typo or mistaken statement in a posting there. Way to go, Hopalong.
Ann Coulter Is Worried The ‘Trump-Haters Were Right’ Post Date: 2017-05-15 10:21:50 by cranky

Conservative author Ann Coulter was one of the most vocal supporters of Donald Trump during the presidential campaign. She wrote In Trump We Trust and proclaimed that she worships him like the people of North Korea worship their Dear Leader blind loyalty. Coulter described herself as a single-issue voter during the election and was drawn to Trump due to his Mexican rapist speech and him calling for a border wall to be built. In an interview Sunday with The Daily Caller, Coulter let it be known she still has hope in the Trump presidency, but is ready to jump ship. So theres no wall, and Obamas amnesties look like they are here to ...

Morning Joe dropped a very revealing nugget on Mondays show, with both Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski accusing White House Counsellor Kellyanne Conway of being a fraud. Now, obviously, Conways regular use of alternative facts is nothing new, but Mika and Joe went even further, alleging that she secretly hates Trump and made it known to them after appearances on their show during the campaign. Per Brzezinski: This is a woman, by the way, who came on our show during the campaign and would shill for Trump in extensive fashion and then she would get off the air, the camera would be turned off, the microphone would be taken off and she would say bleeech I ...
How Trump gets his fake news Post Date: 2017-05-15 09:55:56 by Willie Green

The president rarely surfs the web on his own, but his staff have made a habit of slipping news stories on to his deskincluding the occasional internet hoax. White House chief of staff Reince Priebus issued a stern warning at a recent senior staff meeting: Quit trying to secretly slip stuff to President Trump. Just days earlier, K.T. McFarland, the deputy national security adviser, had given Trump a printout of two Time magazine covers. One, supposedly from the 1970s, warned of a coming ice age; the other, from 2008, about surviving global warming, according to four White House officials familiar with the matter. Trump quickly got lathered up about the medias hypocrisy. But ...

At the urging of longtime friends and outside advisers, most of whom he consults after dark, President Trump is considering a "huge reboot" that could take out everyone from Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon, to counsel Don McGahn and press secretary Sean Spicer, White House sources tell me. Trump is also irritated with several Cabinet members, the sources said. "He's frustrated, and angry at everyone," said one of the confidants. The conversations intensified this week as the aftermath of the Comey firing pushed the White House from chaos into crisis. Trump's friends are telling him that many of his top aides don't know ...

After four months in office, President Donald Trump has become distrustful of some of his White House staff, heavily reliant on a handful of family members and longtime aides, and furious that the White House's attempts to quell the firestorm over the FBI and congressional Russia investigations only seem to add more fuel. Trump's frustrations came to a head this week with the firing of FBI Director James Comey, who was overseeing the probe into his campaign's possible ties to Russia's election meddling. Fearful that his own team would leak the decision, Trump kept key staff in the dark as he pondered the dramatic move. The communications staff charged with explaining the ...

Weakly County Sheriffs arrested Wendi Wright, 35, on Thursday for a heated encounter with GOP Rep. David Kustoff in which the freshman lawmaker accused the woman of trying to run his car off the road, according to a statement from the department. Trump Budget Director Mick Mulvaney said that people with Type 2 diabetes dont deserve to have health insurance because they gave themselves diabetes. While speaking at Stanford University, Trump Budget Director Mick Mulvaney classified diabetes as a bad lifestyle choice, That doesnt mean we should take care of the person who sits at home, eats poorly and gets diabetes. Is that the same thing as Jimmy Kimmels kid? I dont think that it is. If you get Type II diabetes because you listened to Republicans and rebelled against former First Lady Michelle Obamas efforts to encourage healthy eating, youre on your own. The U.S. Pentagon has endorsed a plan, known as the Asia-Pacific Stability Initiative (APSI), to invest nearly $8 billion to bulk up the U.S. presence in the Asia-Pacific region over the next five years by upgrading military infrastructure, conducting additional exercises, and deploying more forces and ships, The Wall Street Journal reported on May 7. That comes in addition to the $54 billion in new military spending requested for next years federal budget. The effort to bulk up the U.S. presence in the Asia-Pacific region is seen by backers of the plan as a way to signal U.S. commitment to the region. It was initially put forward by U.S. Senator John McCain, and the general concept ...

San Lorenzo, CA A heartening trend is growing on social media showing that people are waking up to the state persecuting individuals over victimless crimes. The latest example of this trend comes from the Alameda County Sheriffs department posting a photo of a deputy arresting a man for selling fruits and vegetables on the roadside and attempting to justify it. When people read the departments justification, they lashed out peacefully to let them know what they were doing is wrong. Legality does not dictate morality. The photo, which has sparked so much backlash online, depicts a deputy confiscating strawberries and mangoes while the man selling ...

UK hospitals, Telefonica, FedEx, and other businesses were hit by a massive ransomware attack on Friday. Around 75,000 computers in 99 countries were affected by malware known as WannaCry, which encrypts a computer and demands a $300 ransom before unlocking it. The malware was able to spread thanks to flaws in old versions of Windows that were originally used by the NSA to hack into PCs before being made public by the Shadow Brokers group last month. While Microsoft quickly issued fixes for the latest versions of Windows last month, this left Windows XP unprotected. Many of the machines attacked today have been breached simply because the latest Windows updates have not been applied ...

Local regulatory busybodies are zoning away your right to grow food in your garden. With spring in bloom, gardening season is underway across the country. That means lettuces and herbs, tomatoes and carrots. But it also means local regulatory busybodies are hard at work in many parts of the country making sure some gardeners' toughest fights this season won't be against drought, weeds, and non-human pests. In Columbiana, Ohio, for example, the city council has proposed to amend existing law to allow residential gardens in the city. Yay? Nope. Residents are crying foul. They call the measure "just another effort on the city's part to restrict their rights." ...

Former president Barack Obama is slowly finding his way back into the political spotlight after taking a couple of months off to gallivant around with his liberal billionaire friends. After maintaining radio silence for the first leg of the Trump presidency, Obama has been back out on the speaking circuit
and attracting some unexpected criticism from his fellow Democrats. Part of that criticism has come from Obamas much-publicized speaking fees; hes accepted a couple of $400,000 gigs from Wall Street banks, much to the chagrin of people who still labored under the illusion that he was a man of the people. For those high-priced appearances, Obama has been chided ...

Ted Cruz (R-TX) speaks to reporters on Capitol Hill, May 10, 2017 in Washington, DC. Senator Ted Cruz has spent much of his tenure in Washington angering Democrats, Republicans, and the Trump team to boot. It often seems like he may be the most hated man in American politics. The House of Representatives Endorses Obamacare Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives crafted a partisan compromise bill that endorsed and reinforced the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. This was done notwithstanding claims to the contrary by President Donald Trump and the House Republican leadership, who want us to believe that this bill, if it becomes law, will effectively repeal and replace Obamacare. Obamacare is a stool with four problematic legs. The constitutional leg is the premise that the federal government has the lawful power to regulate the delivery of health care. The legal leg is the premise that the federal government is obliged to provide health insurance to ...

President Trump is receiving a proposal from top advisers to send thousands more U.S. troops to Afghanistan and loosen the rules of engagement, all part of an effort to assist Afghan allies and put renewed pressure on the Taliban. The plan on the table would send an additional 3,000-5,000 troops to the country. In a significant shift, it also reportedly would give the Pentagon as opposed to the White House the authority to set troop numbers. A senior White House official told Fox News that the "Afghanistan review is done and President Trump will be briefed on it soon." There currently are 8,400 U.S. troops in Afghanistan, down from a ...

Netflix isn't alone: Agencies and others are balancing demands for money against the fears of stolen data ending up online. Phones are the lifeblood of a talent agency like UTA, but on April 11, its IT department discovered an intruder lurking in the voicemail system and computer network and quickly decided to shut them down, sending agents to conduct business on their iPads. Soon thereafter a demand from a hacker arrived: Pay a ransom or watch the agency's most confidential data get posted online. It turns out UTA was lucky an outside cybersecurity firm was brought in and, after conducting a forensic analysis, determined that nothing valuable had been pilfered. But the ...
