Tempe, AZ — Jazmine Faye and her boyfriend Bryan Acosta were trying to have a night out on Tempe, Arizona’s famed Mill Avenue June 7th. They’d partied at the Zuma Grill before, and had a great time, so they thought they’d go back. Little did they know the night would end with Bryan getting a beatdown by the Tempe Police Department for mistaking his legitimate New York Driver’s License for a fake one. It all started when Acosta’s driver’s license was confiscated by the bar’s security guard because the Arizona bouncer said the New York drivers license looked fake to him. Instead of returning the questionable identification, he simply put it in his ...

London’s police chief: “Islamophobia” is intolerable

There you have it. “Islamophobia” is intolerable. Bombs designed to cause maximum pain, mutilation and dismemberment of our babies flesh and bone at a pop concert — not so much. But “islamophobia”? Intolerable. That is sharia, and that is not a world which I will consent to live. Ever. “Figures have shown a fivefold increase in the number of Islamophobic attacks since the attack at London Bridge and a 40 per cent increase in racists’ incidents.” This includes, mind you, tweets deemed offensive to Islam. London’s police chief: “Islamophobia” is intolerable By Robert Spencer, June 13, 2017: “Figures have shown a fivefold ...

White House Makes It Official: It Wants to Keep Snooping on Americans

Trump and group of GOP senators don’t want us to have greater privacy protections from unwarranted domestic surveillance. President Donald Trump and allies may complain on Twitter and out loud how the Deep State illegally snooped on him under his predecessor, Barack Obama, but that doesn't mean the White House wants less surveillance authority. The White House and several GOP senators have made it official: They want to make some significant surveillance authorities permanent under law without addressing concerns by civil liberties and privacy advocates that these authorities are being used to collect Americans' data without the use of warrants. What we're talking about is ...

Civil Asset Forfeiture: Another Stealth Tax

When you're a government agency, asking for a tax increase is always a hassle. For the most part, taxpayers don't like taxes, and if asked if they want to pay more, they're likely to often say "no." Moreover, when public officials pass tax increases, they may face the wrath of taxpayers at the ballot box.For this reason, governments are always looking for ways to get revenue without having to use tax revenue. After all, if taxes are the government's only source of revenue, this presents a problem. As noted by Ludwig von Mises in Omnipotent Government: The government has but one source of revenue — taxes. No taxation is legal without ...

Coal industry could be in store for a 'rare earth' reboot

The coal industry's future may have much more to do with building smartphones, wind turbines and missile defense radar than billowing smoke stacks and environmental finger pointing, say federal coal advisers and experts. The direction of the industry is aimed at harvesting what are known as "rare earth elements," for which the U.S. industry depends on China. The 19 elements are key ingredients in building complex electronics used in smartphones, jets, defense applications, advanced wind turbines and renewable energy, not to mention light-emitting diodes, or LEDs. The bottom line is that the U.S. needs to diversify its supply of the minerals, and the coal industry is the ...

James Comey admits to taking official government documents home and then giving them to the NY Times; he directly contradicts his 3 May 2017, under-oath testimony; he publicly conspires with that stooge of a Special Counsel Robert Mueller to stage-manage his testimony; he refused to tell Americans that their president was not colluding with the Russians; he coordinated his public language with Attorney General Lynch to please Clinton, protect that criminal, and fix the 2016 election; and, just after the hearing, is reported to have been offered a $10 million advance/payoff from a New York publisher for a book on Trump. The Senate committee, almost to a man and woman, tried to aid ...

This Is What Globalized Crony Capitalism Looks Like: Immelt Got Fabulously Wealthy While GE Shares Dropped

Jeff Immelt is perhaps the perfect paragon for the failures of the now passing age of globalization. Immelt is stepping down from his position as chairman and chief executive of General Electric, the massive company he has led since September of 2001. Jack Welch, his legendary predecessor, had overseen the company as its value rose from about $14 billion in when he took the reins in 1981 to nearly $500 billion when he retired 20 years later. Its stock price increased 400 percent. Annual revenue soared from $18 billion to an eye-popping $130 billion. When he took the top job, Immelt promised that “GE will always outperform any market that we’re in.” That certainly has not ...

China's bizarre 'white people for hire' industry

Pennsylvania supermarket shooter Randy Stair left behind a trove of material explaining his motivations for gunning down three of his co-workers. In his recorded suicide notes, released just hours before Thursday’s rampage, the 24-year-old talked extensively about his depression and about who he was as a person—a transgender woman who hated men and toxic masculinity. In a video titled “Goodbye,” Stair says his YouTube cartoon series, Ember’s Ghost Squad, gave him a purpose, and that the cartoon character “Ember McLain,” from the Nickelodeon series Danny Phantom, brought out the girl in him.  Randy Stair “I’ve always been a ...

Currently, the Royal Chinese Mint, the subordinate unit of China Banknote Printing and Minting, is testing Ethereum and its ERC 20 token standard to digitize the renminbi (RMB) or the Chinese yuan. As ConsenSys’ head of global business development Andrew Keys revealed in his blog post, the Royal Chinese Mint is at the forefront of research and exploration into digital money. By utilizing the ERC 20 token standard, the Royal Chinese Mint is essentially ...

Trump: Another CFR Administration

Like lemmings mindlessly going over a cliff, Trump supporters are unable or unwilling to face the fact their man in the White House is in deep with the globalists. It’s fair to say they know virtually nothing about the global elite. For instance, the Trump administration has a large number of Council on Foreign Relations members and associates on staff, but you never hear about this. The propaganda media does not talk about it because many media people are members or former members. Notable members have included: George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Warren Christopher, Zbigniew Brzezinski, George Soros, Paul Volcker, and, of course, David Rockefeller. In other words, a virtual who’s who ...

The Surveillance State and Big Brother Trump

Despite his opposition to surveillance during the campaign, Trump has flip-flopped once again and now supports the surveillance state. His Homeland Security advisor, Tom Bossert, who worked with the Bush administration, penned an editorial for The New York Times this week calling for a reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Section 702 allows for vacuuming up emails, instant messages, Facebook messages, web browsing history, and more in direct violation of the Fourth Amendment. “Cabinet officials and security professionals from different agencies will testify on this matter on Wednesday,” writes Bossert. “President Trump stands with them ...

Lindy: “No Knock Raid” – a song about the drug war’s deadliest tactic.

Viewer discretion is advised. “No Knock Raid,” written and performed by Toronto-based musician Lindy, is a searing indictment of one of the most aggressive, ubiquitous, and mistaken tactics in the War on Drugs. Consider only the most recent raid to cause a national outrage: On May 5, 2011, 26-year-old Jose Guerena, who survived two tours in the Iraq War, was shot and killed during a raid on his house by a Pima County, Arizona SWAT team that fired dozens of bullets through his front door. Guerena, married and a father of two, had just finished a 12-hour shift at a ...

Delta, Bank of America drop sponsorship of Shakespeare in the Park over ‘Julius Caesar’ stunt that shows Trump assassination

Delta Airlines and Bank of America pulled out of their sponsorship of New York’s Public Theater on Sunday over a production of “Julius Caesar” that reimagines the main character as President Trump. Shortly after Delta, who was a four-year sponsor, made its announcement, Bank of America yanked its support as well. The Shakespeare in the Park play tells the story of the leader assassinated by Roman senators over the fear that he’s becoming too tyrannical, but rather than the original setting, the production stages Caesar (Gregg Henry) and his wife, Calpurnia, (Tina Benko) with Donald and Melania Trump lookalikes. Henry, who already played a Trump stand-in on ...

Do you want to know the dirty secret about how the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) confiscates suspected drug traffickers' money? The truth is, it's not hard: Agents just go to an airport and wait for cash to drop into their laps. A March report by the Justice Department's inspector general (I.G.) found the DEA seized a whopping $4 billion in cash over the past decade using civil asset forfeiture, mostly from airports, train stations, and bus terminals. Contrary to DEA rhetoric, these seizures have little to do with ongoing criminal investigations and everything to do with bringing in money. In 81 percent of the cases the I.G. reviewed, there were no accompanying criminal ...
