Governments of the ‘Free’ World (And the atrocities they plan) Post Date: 2017-07-12 05:25:41 by Deckard

Welcome to America, where your assets are literally the governments business, and freedom is anything but free.Claire Bernish, The Free Thought Project For some time, Ive been forewarning readers that, as the governments of the former free world unravel, theyll introduce capital controls, both to continue to fund their failing policies and to limit the freedom of their citizenries. Ive envisioned this as a pincer of sorts. First, it would be necessary to institute laws that allow authorities to confiscate the assets of anyone whom they suspected of a crime. (Its essential to understand that an actual arrest ...
Confidence in police rebounds to 25-year high Post Date: 2017-07-11 23:29:54 by Gatlin

More Americans say they have "a great deal of confidence" or "quite a lot of confidence" in law enforcement, reversing a downward trend that occurred in 2015 in the wake of several police shootings of unarmed blacks. Gallup's latest survey finds overall confidence in law enforcement has returned to its 25-year average high of 57 percent. Still, the new survey finds years of bad press and national turmoil have deepened the divide in confidence that particular groups have in police. Among Hispanics, liberals and those younger than 35, the divide is the strongest. Among Hispanics, 45 percent expressed confidence in law enforcement, down from 59 percent from 2012 to 20 ...

Mitch McConnel And Obozocare Post Date: 2017-07-11 17:27:40 by IbJensen

ObamaCare is flat-lining and wrecking our health care system, just like conservatives and many Republicans said it would. So why is Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Republican Leadership trying so hard to save it? Late last week, McConnell threatened to use Democrat votes to pass a taxpayer-funded ObamaCare bailout unless Republican Senators support his so-called "Better Care Reconciliation Act." The Better Care Reconciliation Act -- more accurately called ObamaCare Plus -- does not repeal ObamaCare, and in fact keeps the bulk of our government-run health care system in place. Republicans ran in 2016 on a platform of repealing ObamaCare "root and ...

Led by Hard-Left Mayors Seeking to Make Their Mark, Paris and L.A. Ready for ‘Closed-Door’ Olympic Bid Session in Switzerland Post Date: 2017-07-11 14:51:09 by cranky

If it seemed like two of the worst mayors in the world had become the front-runners to host the 2024 Olympics, thats because they have. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo now remain the only things standing in the way of each other, and their respective cities opportunity to host the Olympics. An opportunity which has lost much of its luster over the years. Cities used to bid themselves into insolvency in hopes of attracting the Olympics and all the fame and fortune it promised. Now, though, most former host cities have found that the Olympics promise to bring long-lasting jobs, economic revitalization, and international exposure have proven, ...
The Boston Marathon Bombing After Four Years Post Date: 2017-07-11 13:51:50 by Deckard

April 15, 2017, was the fourth anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombing, a hoax event performed by crisis actors and tell-tale bright red Hollywood blood. Sheila Casey has done a good job of exposing the hoax just by using the time line and photos of the event. https://truthandshadows.wordpress.com/2013/05/08/false-flag-theatre-boston-bombing-involves-clearly-staged-carnage/ A number of agencies run training programs in which amputees working as crisis actors have a prosthesis afixed to resemble a bone as a remaining piece of a leg or arm. Casey examines the Boston event by timeline. First the crisis actors are assembled. Then the prosthesis is attached. Then the blood appears. Notice ...

At a critical juncture in Donald Trumps presidential campaign last year, his son Donald Trump Jr. met with Natalia Veselnitskaya, a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer who promised to share political dirt on Hillary Clinton. Paul Manafort, Mr. Trumps campaign chairman at the time, and Jared Kushner, Mr. Trumps son-in-law and a key strategist, also attended. The June 9, 2016, meeting is of obvious interest to Robert Mueller III, the Justice Department special counsel investigating the Trump teams potential involvement in Russias effort to influence the presidential election. In two clumsy statements over the weekend, the younger Mr. Trump on Saturday said the ...

In 732 A.D., the Muslim Army, which was moving on Paris, was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell. In 1571 A.D., the Muslim Army/Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to attack southern Europe in the Battle of Lepanto. In 1683 A.D., the Turkish Muslim Army, attacking Eastern Europe, was finally defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian armies. This nonsense has been going on for 1,400 years! The sad thing is that more than half of all politicians do not even know any of this. If these battles had not been won, we would most likely be speaking Arabic. And Christianity ...
Abnormal Returns from Joining Congress? Evidence from New Members Post Date: 2017-07-11 11:55:28 by Anthem

Abstract Past research shows that members of Congress are informed traders, i.e., that they earn abnormal returns while in office. This important research does not identify whether being elected leads to informed trading or whether informed traders are selected into office. We try to provide a partial answer to this question by looking at whether new members of Congress were informed traders prior to being elected and how their portfolio performance changes after election and appointment to different types of committees. Due to data limitations our analysis focus on the pre-congressional (i.e., election) and congressional (i.e., post-election) common stock trades made by newly elected ...
Trump Jr. releases email chain on conversations with Russian sources Post Date: 2017-07-11 11:54:45 by cranky

Donald Trump Jr. on Tuesday released a stunning chain of emails highlighting his conversations about setting up a controversial campaign meeting with a Russian lawyer offering compromising information on Hillary Clinton. The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with [Agalarovs] father Aras this morning and their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia would be very useful to your father, reads one of the emails from Rob Goldstone to Trump Jr. This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for ...

Newark, NJ A court case was decided this month by an appellate court in New Jersey which affirmed that citizens are allowed to defend themselves against police brutality. The courts decision involves the case of Darnell Reed, 33, who was beaten to a bloody pulp by officers during an arrest in 2013 in which he faced multiple charges. A jury found him not guilty on seven of the eight charges, with the only guilty charge being that of resisting arrest. However, the appellate court ruled last week that Reed was denied a fair trial in that instance, as the jury had not been instructed to consider whether or not Reed had that right to defend himself against ...

An officer of the Carteret Police Department has been charged with three counts of official misconduct, third-degree aggravated assault and was suspended from the police force after he reportedly beat a local teenager and failed to activate his body camera during the encounter. Officer Joseph Reiman, 31, who also happens to be the brother of Carteret Mayor Dan Reiman, was charged in early June, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey. The 16-year-old victim, who was said to have sustained significant bodily injury in a press release issued by the Middlesex County Prosecutors Office (MCPO), was being pursued by Reiman when he crashed his car. Neither dog appears to have been charging at the officer. The Facebook video is disturbing. A uniformed Minneapolis police officer is seen in the fenced backyard of a home in north Minneapolis. As of Sunday afternoon, both dogs were alive but their owner, Jennifer LeMay, was facing thousands of dollars in bills for vet care and surgery. Minneapolis police released a statement Sunday saying an investigation is underway and at this time, there is no further information we can release. The incident happened about 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of Queen Avenue N. The episode was recorded on security video cameras in LeMays backyard. On Sunday evening, a ...

Yesterday the National Rifle Association broke its recent silence on the shooting of Philando Castile, a Minnesota carry permit holder who was killed during a traffic stop last summer by a cop who panicked when Castile reached for the wallet containing his driver's license. "I think it's absolutely awful," NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch said during a debate on CNN. "It's a terrible tragedy that could have been avoided." Referring to last month's acquittal of Jeronimo Yanez, the officer who was charged with second-degree manslaughter after shooting Castile, Loesch added: I don't agree with every single decision that comes out from courtrooms of America. ...

Gunshot to the back of the head in overturned car A lawyer who was investigating the Sandy Hook shooting was found dead in his overturned car. Police ruled Gugsa Abraham (Abe) Dabela's death as a suicide despite a gunshot wound to the back of his head and "footprints" on his back. His car was discovered on an isolated country road close to his home in small, upscale Redding, CT. The local police, including Chief Douglas Fuchs, determined right away that the car had purposely been crashed by Mr. Dabela because "he had been drinking". Shortly before his death, Attorney Dabela, a bachelor, had frequented some of the local establishments to speak to Redding police ...

I missed this in the tumult of the past week but good news is always welcome. When Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl was released by the Taliban in 2014 he was feted by the Obama administration despite ample evidence that he was actually a deserter. His parent were guests at a Rose Garden ceremony with Obama, himself. Habitual and reflexive liar Susan Rice took to the Sunday shows to reprise her bravura performance after Benghazi, in this case she told a lie so monstrous that even CNNs Jim Acosta, who never saw an Obama-related knob shoe he couldnt polish, was shocked: RICE: I realize there has been a lot of discussion and controversy around this. What I was referring to is the fact ...
Fewer countries refusing to take back criminal illegal aliens in 2017 Post Date: 2017-07-10 20:17:59 by Tooconservative

Progress on the legislative front remains largely at a standstill, but that doesnt mean that things arent getting done. President Trump has been meeting with the leaders of various nations this week and this story from the Washington Examiner makes me wonder whether any of his one-on-one chats included the subject of deportation. In the spring of 2016 there were nearly two dozen countries that were refusing to take back their criminal illegal aliens when ICE caught them here and we wanted to deport them. At this point that number is down to twelve, so clearly some of them have gotten the message. The Trump administration has bolstered its campaign to deport criminal illegal ...

America, the New York Times groans (chortles?), was "ostracized" by the other G20 countries at the recently concluded meeting in Hamburg. And with Angela Merkel leading the band of ostracizers. And on not one but three issues: immigration, climate change, and trade. These are all worth examining in turn. Let's start with immigration. Led by Chancellor Merkel (and contrary to the wishes of many members of the European Union) Germany welcomed 1 million largely Muslim immigrantsmany with no identification, some with forged passports, most in need of all the welfare state could provide. The resulting clash of civilizations has made it unsafe in major German cities for ...

Just when you think youve seen it all, out comes another Donald Trump tweet, or tweetstorm, to prove you wrong. On Sunday morning, Americas forty-fifth President, having just returned to Washington from the G-20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, pronounced his trip a great success for the United States. It says something about Trumps grip on reality that he could reach such a conclusion after a summit in which he and the rest of the U.S. delegation were utterly isolated on major issues such as climate change and international trade. In fact, the only way that German Chancellor Angela Merkels diplomatic sherpas were able to cobble together a communiqué ...
