Will Justice Come For IRS Lawbreakers At Last? Post Date: 2017-08-29 10:56:25 by XDMAR

buse Of Power: The IRS scandal seemingly has lain dormant now for months, all but forgotten amid the spate of recent anti-Trump media spasms, the ongoing violent antics of the antifa leftists and, now, Hurricane Harvey's devastation. But even if much of Washington has forgotten about it, a Washington judge hasn't. As reported by the Washington Examiner, Judge Reggie B. Walton of the Washington, D.C., District Court last week revived legal attention to the scandal, telling the IRS it has to reveal the names of IRS employees who targeted conservative, libertarian and Tea Party groups. But Walton didn't stop there. He also gave the IRS until Oct. 16 to find all the records in IRS ...
Most Harvey flood victims uninsured, face big bills alone Post Date: 2017-08-29 10:41:38 by XDMAR

NEW YORK (AP) -- Homeowners suffering flood damage from Harvey are more likely to be on the hook for losses than victims of prior storms - a potentially crushing blow to personal finances and neighborhoods along the Gulf Coast. Insurance experts say only a small fraction of homeowners in Harvey's path of destruction have flood insurance. That means families with flooded basements, soaked furniture and water-damaged walls will have to dig deep into their pockets or take on more debt to fix up their homes. Some may be forced to sell, if they can, and leave their communities. "All these people taken out in boats, they have a second problem: They have no insurance," said Robert ...

Hurricane Harvey's Stinging Nightmare: Floating Fire Ant Colonies Post Date: 2017-08-29 10:36:49 by XDMAR

As if the catastrophic floods in Houston havent done enough damage, people are now reporting large colonies of fire ants floating on the rising water. These fire ants appear to have an outrageous survival mechanism. And, frankly, its unsettling. Houston Chronicle reporter Mike Hixenbaugh tweeted a video of the red ants, infamous for their painful bites, on Sunday and said that they use the bodies of dead ants as a raft. Apparently fire ants already have a slight resistance to water on their own, but nothing so strong as when they work together. Colonies will link together to be able to stay afloat even in the severe flooding Texas is experiencing.
Jean-Claude Juncker: The UK government's Brexit position papers are not 'satisfactory' Post Date: 2017-08-29 10:33:07 by XDMAR

LONDON The UK government's position papers for Brexit negotiations are not "satisfactory," European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has said. Talking at a conference of EU diplomats on Tuesday, Juncker said that there were an "enormous amount of issues" still to be resolved in Brexit negotiations, which restarted this week. His comments follow the EU's chief negotiator Michel Barnier saying on Monday that Britain "must start negotiating seriously." Theresa May's government has published a number of position papers and "future partnership papers" in the past fortnight, including plans for the Irish border, the UK's ...
Duncan Hunter says Trump's 'an a--hole but he's our a--hole' Post Date: 2017-08-29 09:45:47 by Willie Green

Maybe Rep. Duncan Hunter left his fidget spinner at home, or maybe the California Republican didn't think he was talking on the record. Either way, Hunter just gave the most unvarnished, most unguarded, and most uncouth assessment of President Trump. "He's just like he is on TV," Hunter reportedly told a group of Young Republicans gathered at a sports bar. "He's an asshole, but he's our asshole." While that's not outlandish language outside D.C., it's unheard of inside the GOP conference. Trump's presidency has taken a turn for the worse, but most Republican lawmakers will bite their tongues before complaining about the president. Duncan's ...

This report was originally published by Paul Joseph Watson at Infowars.com According to left-wing website The Root, Charles Barkley is a white supremacist because he says black people should stop getting angry over old statues and instead concentrate on not killing each other and getting an education. Why wont Charles Barkley shut the fuck up? asks a clearly triggered Michael Harriot, whose story is filed under the category Stupid Negroes. Is there anyone who thinks that Barkleys statements about race reveal anything other than his repeated willingness to throw black people under the bus for our stupid unwillingness to assimilate into ...

Hawk seeks refuge in taxi during Hurricane Harvey Post Date: 2017-08-29 08:23:47 by A K A Stone

A hawk sought shelter in a Houston mans taxi while Hurricane Harvey approached Texas on August 25. William Bruso came back to his taxi after stopping to stock up on food and supplies for the storm, when he realized a Coopers hawk was sitting in the passenger seat of his car. According to Bruso, the hawk was not injured in any way, but refused to leave the car. Eventually, Bruso was able to coax the hawk to the car door, where he could pick him up and move him out. Bruso speculated the hawk was looking for a place to hunker down during the storm, so he named him Harvey the Hurricane Hawk.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. Aug 28, 2017, 12:01 PM ET The founder of the internet's oldest white supremacist site said he was trying to get back online Monday after a company revoked its domain name following complaints that it promotes hatred and is linked to dozens of murders. Don Black, a former Ku Klux Klan leader who has operated stormfront.org since 1995, said he didn't receive any warning before Network Solutions blocked the use of the stormfront.org name on Friday. Stormfront.org had more than 300,000 registered users, Black said, with traffic increasing since a violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Popular with the KKK and neo-Nazi groups, the site ...
Court Claims Nothing Wrong with Rigging Primaries—Dismisses Lawsuit Against DNC Post Date: 2017-08-29 08:16:13 by Deckard

The lawsuit brought about by Bernie Sanders supporters against the Democratic National Committee and its former chairperson Debbie Wasserman-Schultz has been dismissed after a court conceded that the DNC and Wasserman-Schultz rigged the primariesbut were well within their rights to do soseriously. After first assuming all the plaintiffs allegations were true, for the purposes of weighing their claims, Judge William Zloch dismissed the lawsuit on several grounds. The plaintiffs alleged fraud on the part of the DNC in three different ways: 1. The DNC did not remain unbiased as evidenced through the DNC emails Wikileaks published. 2. Donors to the DNC were defrauded because ...

The historic Nov. 2016 ballot initiatives to legalize cannabis brought a resounding win for freedom in several states, with the exception of Arizona. There, voters narrowly rejected decriminalization, in no small part due to a massive anti-pot propaganda campaign funded in-part by Big Pharma. Arizona-based Insys Therapeutics gave $500,000 to a group called Arizonans for Responsible Drug Policy, which amounted to 10 percent of the groups total money used to manufacture and disseminate anti-pot propaganda. Some of the scare tactics Insys used itself was to claim that legalization fails to protect the safety of Arizonas citizens, and particularly its ...

The Persian Gulf harbors an array of extremely compromising secrets. Near the top is the Afghan heroin ratline with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) positioned as the golden node of a transnational, trillion dollar heroin money laundering operation. In this 21st century Opium War, crops harvested in Afghanistan are essentially feeding the heroin market not only in Russia and Iran but especially in the US. Up to 93% of the worlds opium comes from Afghanistan. Contrary to predominant Western perception, this is not an Afghan Taliban operation. The key questions never asked by Atlanticist ...

Newsletter Distributed on College Campus Calls for Banning Veterans Post Date: 2017-08-28 16:56:44 by IbJensen

A newsletter distributed at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs says veterans shouldn't be in college: The newsletter reads as follows: "A four-year, traditional university is supposed to be a place of learning, of understanding, of safety and security. However, there is an element among us who may be frustrating those goals: Veterans. UCCS is known for its number of veterans who are full and part-time students. But these veterans of much of the school prides themselves on may be hurting the university. First off, many veterans openly mock the ideas of diversity and safe spaces for vulnerable members of society. This is directly in contradiction to the mission of ...
Cop Caught on Video Holding Man at Gunpoint for Filming on His Own Property Post Date: 2017-08-28 10:06:09 by Deckard

San Antonio, TX Filming the police is entirely legal in every state. However, all too often, we will see police officers overstep their authority and arrest, attack, and assault innocent people for the constitutionally protected act of documenting their behavior in public. An exclusive video submitted to the Free Thought Project this week shows just how dangerous a cops ignorance of the law can be. The video below is disturbing for many reasons. However, the fact that it is part of a trend that seems to be growing is perhaps the most disturbing aspect. In spite of police officers getting publicly chastised on YouTube and Facebook for attacking people for filming, they continue ...

WASHINGTON The Trump administration is preparing to lift a controversial ban on the transfer of some surplus military equipment to police departments whose battlefield-style response to rioting in a St. Louis suburb three years ago prompted a halt to the program. The new plan, outlined in documents obtained by USA TODAY, would roll back an Obama administration executive order that blocked armored vehicles, large-caliber weapons, ammunition and other heavy equipment from being re-purposed from foreign battlefields to America's streets. On Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is scheduled to address the annual meeting of the Fraternal Order of Police, the nation's largest ...

The former vice president calls on Americans to do what President Trump has not. n January of 2009, I stood waiting in Wilmington, Delaware, for a train carrying the first African American elected president of the United States. I was there to join him as vice president on the way to a historic Inauguration. It was a moment of extraordinary hope for our nationbut I couldnt help thinking about a darker time years before at that very site. My minds eye drifted back to 1968. I could see the flames burning Wilmington, the violence erupting on the news of Martin Luther King Jr.s assassination, the federal troops taking over my city. I was living historyand ...

The news today is that the worst flood in recorded history is occurring right now, and right here (in my neck of the woods, the Houston/ Galveston area). Moreover, as with all of the other major events of the last 25 years, I predicted it. (See my book, The Revelation: A Historicist View and turn to the section on the seven last plagues, Plague# 4). I very plainly said that hurricanes and major weather events including floods would wax much worse in 2017. Katrina was just a dress rehearsal, folks. But Thank God I was fully prepared because like I advised everyone on earth to do, I am completely stocked up on distilled water and can goods, and mosquito spray, and (provided the police give ...
Why Today’s Conservatives Are Useless Debaters Post Date: 2017-08-27 16:31:03 by Anthem

They don't have the grit nor guts to make coherent arguments. In a recent commentary in The American Conservative, editorial assistant Maria Biery made it clear who won the annual CATO (libertarian) vs. Heritage (conservative) interns debate earlier this month: Conservatives should take notes from the libertarians at this debate. Their speeches were filled with hard, fact-based evidence, and they drove their core points home repeatedly. The conservatives were taking a roundabout approach to get to the central thesis of their arguments, and the fleeting references to philosophers that most young people have not read did not help. If conservatives in the future figure out how to better ...
Restaurant Bullied Into Changing Name Post Date: 2017-08-27 13:49:45 by Deckard

Katoi was pretty much Detroits hottest, new restaurant when there was a fire one evening, shutting it down for a few months. As it prepared to open again, the restaurant owners came under fire (who/what *isnt* under fire for something nowadays), and there came a tide of hate from the LGBT community with all of the vicious political agendists claiming the name Katoi is offensive because it apparently sounds like something that means something offensive in some other part of the world. So the restaurant now takes the name Takoi. And folks keep letting these bullies win. To quote:The name change comes after owners were approached by some in the ...

A bill that will allow homes to be searched without a warrant was passed with overwhelming support by the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Trumpand it happened with no media coverage and very little fanfare. On the surface, House Joint Resolution 76 looks harmless. The title of the bill claims that its purpose is Granting the consent and approval of Congress for the Commonwealth of Virginia, the State of Maryland, and the District of Columbia to enter into a compact relating to the establishment of the Washington Metrorail Safety Commission. The proposal for a safety commission to act as a wing of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority ...
