Shock Report: NFL’s Oakland Raiders Threw Game After White QB Refused To Kneel For National Anthem [Full Thread]
Post Date: 2017-09-29 07:00:20 by Deckard

A new report from The Armstrong and Getty Radio Show has sent shockwaves throughout the sports world after it was claimed that members of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders may have purposefully allowed their star quarterback to get sacked multiple times after he refused to kneel during the National Anthem. If true, this would essentially mean that an NFL football game was illegally thrown over anger that one of the teams star white players did not believe that kneeling during the nations anthem was the correct way to protest supposed racial injustice in America. In other words, an epic level scandal. During the anthem, virtually the entire team was seen kneeling ...

Cowardly Cop "Fears for His Life", Tasers 81-Year-Old Grandma with Dementia

Greene County, TN — Greene County Sheriff Pat Hankins is standing up for his deputy this week—noting that he supports his deputy’s decision to deploy his taser on an 81-year-old woman on Sunday. Apparently, 81-year-old women with dementia holding gardening tools are now cause for cops to fear for their lives. The family of Beunos Erwin has now hired an attorney after police showed up to their home responding to a 911 call for help and ended up tasering the very old woman in the street. The sheriff said he supports his deputy’s decision because the officer was forced to think fast and only had 14 seconds to decide what to do. According to Hankins, the ...

It Begins . . .(California Mulling Outlawing Internal Combustion Engines)

I expected it to happen, but not this quickly. California officials are, apparently, “mulling” a ban on cars with internal combustion engines, according to an article in the industry trade publication, Automotive News. If they more than mull and pass a ban, CA would be the first American state to do so – following the example set by several European states, including most recently the UK. Part of the reason it is happening so quickly is because of amen-corner support from American publications like Automotive News. Perhaps they should reconsider changing the title of their rag. Because it isn’t “news” when you editorialize – and AN editorializes ...

Stossel: Entrepreneur Saves Free College Courses from Government Ban

An internet entrepreneur saved 20,000 free online college lectures (and more) after the government declared them illegal. Berkeley once had 20,000 college lectures available on their website. Anyone could watch for free. But then government said the videos were illegal because they didn't have captions for the deaf. Captioning 20,000 videos would cost millions. So instead, Berkeley just took down all the videos. That meant nobody outside the college would be able to see them. But one person didn't let that happen. Jeremey Kaufmann just started a new service called LBRY (pronounced "library"). He posted the Berkeley videos and thousands of others. LBRY is kind of like ...

Including homeland security, domestic surveillance, TSA harassment, veterans benefits and interest on associated federal debt: $61,000 per taxpayerHow much have our post-9/11 wars on terror cost? This year's National Defense Authorization Act ordered the government to collect and calculate that information, and the results are in. The Pentagon estimates that so far the war in Afghanistan has cost $753 billion, amounting to a cumulative cost per taxpayer of $3,785. Iraq and Syria are $770 billion, or $3,955 per taxpayer. That adds up to a grand total of more than $1.5 trillion and $7,740 per taxpayer. So far. At Defense One, Marcus Weisberger notes: "Americans paid the most for the ...

Rand Paul’s Plan for Free Market Health Insurance Reform May Be Coming to Fruition [new Trump EO]

It looks like Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) may be getting his way with Republican efforts to change healthcare laws, at least in one capacity, as Trump may soon sign an executive order allowing the purchase of healthcare across state lines. Paul first hinted at the executive order in a radio interview with Western Kentucky University Public Radio, where Paul claimed that Trump is considering an executive order on health care reform that may allow customers to form groups across state lines that purchase insurance together at lower rates depending on their needs. This approach would create competition, reducing rates, and increasing consumer choices. However, opponents of the approach wish claim ...

The Slow Death Of The NFL?

I should say at the outset that I’ve never really been a big football fan. I grew up in Detroit and played hockey, so I love the Redwings. Besides, we didn’t really have a professional team in Detroit; we only had the Lions. Jokes aside, I watched it nearly every week. Not intently, but it was on in the background because it’s easy to do other things with football on. Whether it’s cleaning, writing or whatever, there are long stretches of time during a football game where nothing much happens. And if anything interesting does happen the announcer’s voice and crowd noise give it away and you can look at the TV. If you miss that, they replay it immediately. ...

Kushner Again: How He Helped Push Trump Into A Ditch In Alabama
Post Date: 2017-09-28 11:19:39 by IbJensen

Once again, President Donald Trump finds himself in trouble after taking political advice from his son-in-law. Over the last few months, Jared Kushner, who is also a White House senior adviser, was chief among those who lobbied the president to endorse Luther Strange, the losing candidate in Tuesday’s Republican Senate primary in Alabama. According to two sources who work closely with the young real estate tycoon, Kushner suggested the endorsement, in part, because he believed that a Strange victory would enrage Steve Bannon, the newly reinstalled executive chairman of Breitbart News and a nemesis of Kushner’s from their time together in the Trump White House. Bannon backed the ...

Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers quarterback has asked fans to join arms Thursday during the national anthem.  (AP) Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his teammates have asked fans to stand up and lock arms at Thursday's night game during the national anthem. On Sunday, most of the Packers locked arms with one another during the anthem. Three players, Lance Kendricks, Martellus Bennett and Kevin King chose to sit instead. “This is about equality,” Rodgers told ESPN Tuesday. “This is about unity and love and growing together as a society and starting a conversation around something that may be ...

Protests at the Fryer (The Current Football Foofaraw)

I’m a little embarrassed to admit how much time I spend watching NFL performances: about two hours per year. I’m sure the Super Bowl actually lasts longer than that; but life is short and I’ve only got so much time to give. So I’ll donate approximately half my annual allotment to comment on the current foot-ball foofaraw. The conflict owes its genesis to former ball-tossing mediocrity, Colin Kaepernick. Reportedly, Mr. Kaepernick was the fruit of a fleeting union between a 19 year-old white girl and her black boyfriend, who customarily disavowed the relationship upon learning of her pregnancy. The girl subsequently put the child up for adoption, where it was claimed off ...

NFL Players Have A First Amendment Right To Act Like Little Bitches

Frankly, in my view, the sporting world should be a politics free zone, and the fact that I am compelled to write about politics in sports in America today is bewildering beyond belief. That said, to be clear, I am not a fan of the NFL. I think the sport, like most professional sports, is overrun with whiny, juiced-up morons paid millions of dollars for providing nothing to the public except sub-par entertainment and little-to-no loyalty to the state or city in which they happen to be employed. NFL players are not legitimate role models for society anymore than costumed television wrestlers are role models for society. Add to this the rampant politicization of the NFL over the past ...

The head of the Salt Lake Police Association has watched the country's outrage over the videos showing a nurse getting arrested for refusing to draw a man's blood without a warrant and has decided the correct response is to complain that the public got to see what its officers did. Louisville, KY — A Kentucky State Trooper on a power trip allegedly got violent with a road construction crew over the weekend. However, as the video of incident shows, unlike most scenarios with cops on power trips, it was the Trooper who got taken down, not the citizens. According to video and the witness accounts from the road crew, Trooper Anthony Harrison punched a worker and put them all in danger as he drove through a construction site Sunday night. According to the crew, Harrison drove too fast toward their work zone near Fort Knox about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, adding that he stopped his personal car abruptly, confronted the workers and started arguing. Two of ...

Robert Barnes: No, NFL Players Do Not Have a Right to Kneel or Boycott American Anthem The Associated Press by Robert Barnes 26 Sep 2017 Like the Democratic Party, the NFL has forgot who put them there. The NFL is in the entertainment business, and the heart of its fan base is Trump country. It ain’t CNN. First, the First Amendment protects against the government limiting speech (like public universities do routinely these days); it is not a license to use your employer to harangue their customers. On the company’s time and the customer’s dime, you have no First Amendment right to lecture your customers or fellow employees or anyone else for that matter. Second, the NFL ...

Anthem pulls out of Obamacare market in Maine Insurers face rampant uncertainty on deadline day By Tom Howell Jr. The Washington Times Wednesday, September 27, 2017 Anthem, a major insurer, said Wednesday it will pull out of the Obamacare marketplace in Maine next year, as insurers navigate choppy waters in the wake of the GOP’s failure to pass a repeal bill and square away plans to stabilize the markets. Affected residents will still have options on the exchange, though customers who want to re-enroll in Anthem plans will not be able to tap Obamacare’s taxpayer-funded subsidies. The decision coincided with Wednesday’s deadline for insurers to commit to participating in ...
