One of the actual detectives upon which the television series Law and Order – SVU (Special Victims Unit) was based, has been arrested and charged with 82 counts of having sex with minors. The children, who are family members but not his own children said retired NYPD police officer Nicholas McAteer repeatedly raped them. McAteer, who was arrested on August 22nd after one of the girls came forward, was charged with several felony child sex abuse charges and released after posting $75,000 bond. A new report claims the Podesta Group did not file as a foreign agent despite lobbying for Uranium One. The Daily Caller News Foundation determined Tony Podesta’s lobbying firm represented the Russia-owned company during the Obama administration, but did not register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The report claims Podesta collected lobbying fees of $180,000 from Uranium One. GOP Congressman Devin Nunes says he is concerned about Poedesta’s lobbying actives, and the decision not to register under the act. The special counsel has reportedly subpoenaed Podesta — who resigned from the firm last month– to testify and has requested records from the group.
