A topless activist from the feminist group Femen tried to snatch the statue of the baby Jesus from the Nativity scene in St. Peter's Square on Monday but was stopped by police as she grabbed it. A Reuters photographer said the woman jumped over guard rails and rushed onto the larger-than-life Nativity scene shouting "God is woman". She had the same slogan painted on her bare back. A Vatican gendarme stopped her from taking the statue and she was detained. The incident happened about two hours before Pope Francis delivered his Christmas message to some 50,000 people in the square. The group's website identified her as Alisa Vinogradova and called her a ...

*With apologies to the New York Sun.* DEAR EDITOR: I am 8 years old. Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus. Papa says, 'If you see it in THE SUN it's so.' Please tell me the truth; is there a Santa Claus? VIRGINIA O'HANLON. 115 WEST NINETY-FIFTH STREET. Virginia, your little friends are right. There used to be a Santa Claus, but not anymore. Oh, he is real, dear girl. He most certainly exists. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist. But he has gotten out of the gift-giving game. It all started a few years ago when agents from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration stormed into his workshop, waving a warrant. An ...

Living Breathing or a Standard of Liberty? When a woman asked Benjamin Franklin, a founder of our Constitutional Republic, what kind of government the States created, he answered, A Republic, if you can keep it. The key to keeping that Republic exists in the understanding how the Constitution was designed to function. The Constitution of these United States is not arbitrary. It is a document of standards established to keep the GOVERNMENT from becoming arbitrary. These standards were not invented by the men who wrote the Constitution. These standards were axiomatic truths that had proven themselves for over a millennium. Many of these truths can be found in ...

The Outdated Norway Strategy Post Date: 2017-12-24 15:18:45 by nativist nationalist

After the end of the Vietnam war, the U.S. military focused on the Soviet threat. The Reagan administration entered office with plans for huge increases in military spending, justified with huge exaggerations of the military capabilities of the Soviet Union. The U.S. Marine Corps needed a role in NATO if it wanted a piece of this larger pie. Simply dispatching its 2nd Division to reinforce the U.S. Army was a bland idea from World War I. A unique mission was desired, resulting in a sales pitch that U.S. Marines were needed for the defense of Norway. The Soviet Union's northern port at Murmansk froze over during the winter, and a year around warm water port would be helpful. The Soviets ...

Published on Dec 22, 2017 Famous russian pranksters Vovan & Lexus played a phone trick on the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley. Presenting themselves as The Prime-Minister of Poland they had a conversation with her that lasted for about 30 minutes. Nikky Haley was informed about the situation in Binomo - an island in the South China Sea: Putin supposedly interfered in their elections (this island doesn't exist for real). Ignorant Ambassador stated in all seriousness she was aware of the situation and confirmed Putin interfered in the elections of Binomo. Though it doesn't exist at all. Haley and the pranksters also discussed Kevin Spacey's harassment towards the ...

With the passage of the GOP tax bill this week, the Trump administration has scored 81 major achievements in its first year, making good on campaign promises to provide significant tax cuts, boost U.S. energy production, and restore respect to the United States, according to the White House. And along the way, President Trump even outdid his own expectations and slashed at least 11 major legacy items of former President Barack Obama, including cracking down on the open border, slowing recognition of communist Cuba and effectively killing Obamacare by ending the mandate that everyone have health insurance or face a tax. According to the White House, the 81 accomplishments are in 12 major ...

Campus Leftists Tear Down Kate Steinle Posters at UC San Diego by Joel B. Pollak 20 Dec 2017 Left-wing students at the University of California San Diego tore down posters featuring the late Kate Steinle, the 32-year-old who was killed by an illegal alien in sanctuary city San Francisco in 2015. But instead of punishing them for violating free speech rights, the universitys Office for the Prevention of Harassment & Discrimination is reportedly investigating Gregory Lu, the student who put up the posters, for bias. The College Fix reported Wednesday: On the evening of Dec. 7, Gregory Lu hung 150 posters of Steinles smiling face with the words ...

FLASHBACK: U.S. Pays $3B for UN--More Than 185 Other Countries Combined By Patrick Goodenough | May 7, 2015 | 4:23 AM EDT (CNSNews.com) American taxpayers will pony up around $3.024 billion this year towards the United Nations regular and peacekeeping budgets, more than what 185 other countries combined are paying, an expert on the international body told U.S. lawmakers on Wednesday. While the U.S. contribution in 2015 to the U.N. regular budget is $621.9 million, the 35 countries contributing the least will pay just $28,269 each, Heritage Foundation scholar Brett Schaefer told the Senate Foreign Relations subcommittee responsible for multilateral institutions. When U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld revealed that the Pentagon was missing $2.3 trillion on Sept. 10, 2001, it seemed like a massive amountlittle did the American people know that the events that would occur the next day would wipe the missing money from the headlines, and over the next 16 years, the amount of money the government is missing would increase at a rate in excess of $58,000 per second. While $2.3 trillion may seem like a lot, another government agency admitted to losing triple the amount in 2009, when former Inspector General Elizabeth Coleman admitted that the Federal Reserve could not account for $9 trillion. I have a copy of ...

Arthur Morris was just trying to have a smoke one night outside his Topeka home. He was incredulous when three police officers arrived on his back porch. No, he hadnt called 911, he told them. No, neither had his neighbors to report him yelling at his partner, Jeanie Becerra, because they hadnt been yelling at each other.(In fact, the Topeka police officers were there because of a 911 hangup, though they didnt tell the couple that.) One officer would not be deterred. He grabbed Morris, wrestled him to the ground and later landed 13 blows to his shoulder blades and arm, newly released body camera footage reveals. I didnt do nothing wrong, Morris ...

Finally. I can't believe it's taken this long. After all these years of denigration and disrespect, after all this time when no one would ever dare praise the press, our one bulwark of freedom against the totalitarian horror of representative democracy. It's about time the mainstream media had its own propaganda film. Don't get me wrong: I quite liked The Post. Or, perhaps it's better to say that I quite admired it. It's a very admirable piece of filmmaking, from a very admirable director. If you've ever had any doubt that Steven Spielberg is one of the great filmmakers of all time, all you need to do is watch him turn a story about issuing stock and publishing a ...

The veteran-owned Black Rifle Coffee Company has offered a celebration for Christmas in a video in which two sharpshooters play Christmas carols by firing away with silenced rifles at a string of musical steel bells hung on a line. The two sharpshooters, dressed in Christmas sweaters start their caroling by playing Jingle Bells, then Deck the Halls before Santa shows up with an M249 SAW, firing away as he chuckles, Ho, ho, ho. Then its back to the sharpshooters firing away to play O Holy Night for a moment before they are joined by a man dressed in a pink bunny suit akin to Ralphie in A Christmas Story. He is admonished by ...

Youre likely aware that Im a libertarian. But Im actually more than a libertarian. I dont believe in the right of the State to exist. The reason is that anything that has a monopoly of force is extremely dangerous. As Mao Tse-tung, lately one of the worlds leading experts on government, said: The power of the state comes out of a barrel of a gun. There are two possible ways for people to relate to each other, either voluntarily or coercively. And the State is pure institutionalized coercion. Its not just unnecessary, but antithetical, for a civilized society. And thats increasingly true as technology advances. It was never moral, but at ...

The Baltimore Ravens are no longer in contention for the AFC North title, having fallen too far behind the Steelers, but they are currently tied with the Bills and the Titans for a wild card slot and theyve been showing a lot of potential. They play the Colts today in a home game that could prove to be a make or break match in terms of their chances at a post-season appearance. With that much on the line, youd expect the stadium to be buzzing, but in addition to the Colts, Baltimore is facing another battle. Theyre trying to fill up the seats at M&T Bank Stadium and avoid yet another embarrassing display of sparsely populated stands. The Ravens sold out every single ...

I have had bad pain in my groin region for a number of weeks. I thought it was a pulled groin muscle. But then, I noticed a large lump in my groin area. From all I knew, I thought it was was a hernia or some kind of lymphoma. I went to the doctor who agreed it was a hernia (they examined everything, to my embarrasment). I'm not sure how I should proceed at this point.

A discovery of a goat-man hybrid has left residents of Malaysia searching for answers. Farmer Ibrahim Basir from the Malaysian village of Felda said it was a huge surprise to discover a baby goat with human features. NewsAU (h/t Nick F) The state Veterinary Services Department laboratory is currently investigating the reason behind the goats human-looking features. Agriculture and Agro-based Industry committee chairman Ismail Mohamed said this included exploring the possibility that a human violated the mother goat. (Ya think???) Basir said: I was quite shocked but fascinated too as its face, nose, short legs and even the condition of its soft body seemed like that of a ...
