Free Thought Project – by Matt Agorist Dallas, TX — Feeding and clothing the homeless in the land of the free has now become a revolutionary act. Luckily, however, there are still good people willing to carry out that act. In December 2014, the Dallas city council enacted Ordinance No. 29595, which makes it illegal to serve food to the homeless without jumping through a statist myriad of bureaucratic hoops, including a fee, training classes, and written notices. One should not need to file multiple forms and pay a fee to obtain a permit to give food to those in need who are willingly ready to accept it. The folks at Don’t Comply know this. Matthew Short, with the ...

Medical marijuana is not just being used to help humans. The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine is conducting a first-of-its-kind survey to learn more about the effects of medical cannabis on pets. Six-year-old Ein is one big ball of energy. Sometimes too much for Emily Duesbury to keep up with. "One of the best investments I've made is starting to use CBD oil with him," Duesbury said. CBD Oil is extracted from the hemp plant and Emily uses it on her puppy at least twice a day, not just for his anxiety, but also to help with pain. "We've noticed that he doesn't hop and skip as much he has an easier time taking longer walks, too," she said. ...

Trump dislikes being investigated; so did Al Capone

“What the hell is going on in Chicago?” Donald Trump asked a group of law enforcement officers at the FBI Academy on Friday. “What the hell’s happening there?” Glad you asked, Mr. President. What’s happening here is that murders skyrocketed in big cities in the United States in 2016 and Chicago is a big city in the United States. A 59 percent jump over the year before. Quite a lot, though other cities were worse — San Antonio jumped 61 percent. Which means what? You can’t judge anything with a statistic as narrow as one year’s increase over another. On that scale, Orlando would be the Murder Capital of America, with 169 percent increase in 2016 ...

Trump Nominates (Obama) LGBT Activist to Head EEOC — Which Shouldn’t Even Exist

In yet another swamp victory, the Trump administration has decided to re-nominate a radical LGBT activist and Obama-era holdover for commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) — a bureaucracy that shouldn’t even exist. Lesbian Chai Feldblum has been serving in the post since 2010, having been made EEOC head without Senate approval, via an Obama recess appointment. And from some dark recesses is whence her ideology comes. As Powerline reported Tuesday, “Feldblum is…the architect of the Obama administration’s radical LGBT agenda, including its policy mandating that transgender individuals can use the restroom of their choice” — in ...

Good Cop, Bad Cop

It has been suggested that bad cops are only a small percentage of the overall force and that the good cops should not be judged by the actions of the few. I would argue that if the bad cops are a small percentage of the force, why can they not be confronted and dealt with, if even on a personal, non-administrative way by the good cops? It happens in business all the time. The fact is, the good cops hide behind the actions of the bad cops to be occasionally bad themselves, when it suits them and when they think they are justified. The good cops really don't even know what being a good cop is. They think that if they are not a bad cop they are a good cop, but that doesn't wash. At ...

Deutsche Bank Queried for Info Possibly Tied to Flynn

U.S. authorities asked Deutsche Bank AG to hand over information about transactions that could be linked to former national security adviser Michael Flynn or entities connected to him, the Wall Street Journal reported. The information was sought as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of alleged Russian interference in last year’s U.S. election, the newspaper said Friday, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter. Flynn pleaded guilty this month to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. A lawyer representing him didn’t immediately respond to messages seeking comment on the paper’s report, and a Deutsche Bank spokesman wouldn’t discuss ...

Cyprus is at the center of a circle of corruption surrounding Trump

The country of Cyprus has a long history as a laundromat for dirty money, particularly from Russia. Cyprus is referenced 530,937 times in the Panama Papers, and the Bank of Cyprus, the country's largest bank, is referenced 4,657 times. And the cast of characters linked to the bank and President Donald Trump is troubling.-When Oleg Deripaska, the founder of Russian aluminum company Rusal, began paying Paul Manafort $10 million a year in 2006 to act as a secret emissary for Russian President Vladimir Putin with Western governments, he paid Manafort through the Bank of Cyprus. Records handed over to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigative team show that Manafort and his partner, ...

Investors Are the Most Bearish Since Great Financial Crisis

For years, the historic run higher for U.S. stocks has been characterized as a “hated” rally, one that has consistently vexed investors with rising prices in the face of widespread skepticism. If anything, repeated record highs in 2017 have only made money managers more dour. Big investors are heading into 2018 with the most bearish perspective on stocks since the great financial crisis, according to Boston Consulting Group’s annual investor survey. Fully 46% of investors were pessimistic about equity markets for the next year, up from 32% a year ago and 19% in 2015; more than one-third were bearish about stocks over three years, more than double last year. As global equity ...

Alabama Senate Race: MILITARY BALLOTS May Give Roy Moore the Victory

So, leftists called Roy Moore crazy for not conceding the recent election in Alabama. But thanks to military of Alabama’s overwhelmingly support Moore, he might not be that crazy after all. According to a report by NewsMax: “Over 18,000 servicemen come from the great state of Alabama, and their absentee ballots just came in. This is bad news for Democrats, because Doug Jones’ chances aren’t looking good. According to the State Board of Elections, 16,323 votes came across for Roy Moore while only 1,130 soldiers voted for Jones.” While Moore hasn’t won yet, this does provide him some wiggle room. Further, voter fraud has been reported, as some Millennials stated ...

The Federal Communications Commission has voted to repeal net neutrality, despite overwhelming public support for the regulation, which requires internet service providers like Verizon and Comcast to distribute internet access fairly and equally to everyone, regardless of how much they pay or where they’re located. Despite last-minute requests to delay the December 14 vote from some Republican members of Congress, it went through as scheduled, thanks to the support of a much longer list of Republicans who favored the repeal and urged the vote to be held without delay. As had been heavily predicted for months, the vote was split 3-2 along party lines, with the FCC chair Ajit Pai and the ...

DOJ Wants Protesters & Reporter Convicted For 'Hiding Behind The First Amendment'

Assistant US Attorney Rizwan Qureshi must have done that as well. And, among the parts of the Constitution he's supposed to defend is the First Amendment. But, as a lawyer for the DOJ he has a job to do -- and apparently sometimes that job includes making batshit insane arguments to try to throw protesters and a reporter in jail against their basic First Amendment rights to assemble and to report. This is the case against six people who were singled out and prosecuted, among hundreds of people arrested during protests around Donald Trump's ...

This isn’t the first time a social media powerhouse has come forward with regret for helping create a social media platform either. Facebook’s first president, Sean Parker, opened up about his regrets over helping create social media as we now know it last month. Parker has said that social media creates “a social-validation feedback loop” ...

Acquitted of charges, 2 file damages for actions by authoritiesIt’s not like the FBI isn’t under fire already, with its unwillingness to refer charges against Hillary Clinton amid evidence she mishandled classified information and the investigation by mostly Clinton-supporting investigators into allegations the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 election. Now, there’s another issue: Two men acquitted of charges in the 2014 Bunkerville, Nevada, standoff involving rancher Cliven Bundy are suing the FBI and former Director James Comey for “malicious prosecution,” claiming the bureau presented false evidence in their case and ...

The possibility that there was widespread voter fraud during the recent Alabama senate election between Doug Jones and Roy Moore has become very real after a Jones voter was caught on camera discussing how his supporters came from different parts of the country to vote for the Democrat. After being asked by a local reporter why he was excited to see Jones victory, the man responded with a comment that could easily be interpreted as proof that voter fraud did indeed happen. “Because we came here all the way from ...
