Lindsey Vonn's dog becomes hilarious meme after 24-hour trip to South Korea

Lindsey Vonn had a challenging trip this week to the Winter Olympics in South Korea. The star skier tweeted that her plane had been hugely delayed, turning what is approximately a 14- hour trip (depending on the route) into a 24-hour disaster. Though she didn’t have all the answers, she tried to explain what she did know to her followers. She said she and the other passengers eventually made it to South Korea. And while this would be a difficult trip by herself, she had a companion with her as well: her dog, Lucy. At first, that was not an issue. But a photo of Vonn and her dog after the pair made it to South Korea tells a hilariously different story. Poor Lucy looks a bit ...

Ohhh: "Intelligence" That Trump Cavorted With Prostitutes In Russia, and That the FSB Had Kompromat on Him, Was First Claimed in Cody Shearer's Memo, Before Migrating to the "Steele Dossier"

I've earlier speculated that, given that Hillary's disreputable-to-the-point-of-absurdity "researchers" Sidney Blumethal and Cody Shearer were actually the major ghostwriters of what we call the "Steele Dossier," and that Christopher Steele was brought on mainly as a Front Man, a "cleanskin," whose name slapped upon the Blumenthal/Shearer joint production would lend it a veneer of credibility that the names Blumenthal and Shearer would not. Allegation laundering, I'm speculating. This is just a speculation. I don't have any facts that establish it, only that suggest it as a possibility. Such as the now-admitted fact that Shearer and Blumenthal ...

EFF founder and internet activist John Perry Barlow has died

John Perry Barlow has one of those resumes that seems too surreal to possibly be true. Entertainment sites are currently lamenting the loss of a poet turned Grateful Dead lyricist. Political sites are mourning the death of a lifelong activist. For tech sites such as ours, however, he’ll be forever remembered as the co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation — arguably the most influential organization for internet civil liberties. EFF Executive Director Cindy Cohn announced Barlow’s passing at age 70 in a blog post today, noting, “It is no exaggeration to say that major parts of the Internet we all know and love today exist and thrive because of Barlow’s ...

FDA Just Falsely Declared Kratom to Be an Opioid—Ensuring Big Pharma a Lifetime of Profit
Post Date: 2018-02-08 10:36:48 by Deckard

In one of the most ignorant and corrupt decisions to ever come from the Food and Drug Administration, the government agency has declared the kratom plant to be an opioid. Illustrating their servitude to the pharmaceutical industry, the move will only serve to increase the already horrendous epidemic of opioid overdoses and make criminals out of entirely innocent people. Because kratom has similar effects as opioids—which happen to be vastly safer and milder—the FDA declared it to be a dangerous opioid drug. Kratom is not an opioid. Opiates are derived from poppies and opioids are man-made opiates. Both opiates and opioids depress the respiratory system and are deadly in this ...

Last Saturday afternoon in Washington, D.C. an aide to Nancy Pelosi visited the Bishop of the Catholic Cathedral in D.C. He told the Cardinal that Nancy Pelosi would be attending the next day's Mass, and asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out Pelosi to the congregation and say a few words that would include calling Pelosi a saint. The Cardinal replied, "No. I don't really like the woman, and there are issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over some of Pelosi's views." Pelosi's aide then said, "Look, I'll write a check here and now for a donation of $100,000 to you if you'll just tell the congregation you see Pelosi as a saint." The ...

George W. Bush says Russia meddled in 2016 US election [Full Thread]

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Former President George W. Bush said on Thursday that “there’s pretty clear evidence that the Russians meddled” in the 2016 American presidential election, forcefully rebutting fellow Republican Donald Trump’s denials of Moscow trying to affect the vote. While never mentioning President Trump by name, Bush appeared to be pushing back on Trump’s attempts to have warmer relations with Russia, as well as his comments on immigration. The White House did not immediately comment on Bush’s remarks. “There’s pretty clear evidence that the Russians meddled,” Bush said at a talk in Abu Dhabi, the capital ...

Tim Allen Is Back In Spite Of PC Culture: ‘It’s Like ’30’s Germany’

Famous non-liberal Tim Allen is coming back with a vengeance. After months of being out of the spotlight, he’s decided to put the politically correct “safe space” culture under the microscope in a new TV show. In an interview last year, the comedian likened the liberal atmosphere in Hollywood to that of Nazi Germany. “You’ll get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes,” he said, admitting he was afraid to reveal he attended Trump’s inauguration. “It’s like ’30’s Germany.” But Allen is refusing to allow the left to censor or silence him. Last year, Allen and his fans were blindsided by ABC’s ...

The Mainstream Media Is Now Pushing “Fierce” Underaged Boys In Drag

The Daily Beast is glamorizing a 10-year-old boy for leading the “drag kid movement.” In an article entitled, “RuPaul Loves ‘Drag Kid’ Desmond. You Will Too. Fiercely.” The Beast normalizes Desmond Napoles’ journey to drag queen prominence, along with his influence on “other LGBTQ kids.” Napoles’ parents say as early as five they cultivated their son’s interest in drag – which is when a male dresses up as a female – by taking him to a Gay Pride parade. They compare it to parents encouraging a child’s interest in a sport. “I mean we accepted it because we would rather he feel comfortable with himself,” ...

Bombshell: FBI Informant In Uranium One Scandal Testifies Against Obama [officials]

The FBI’s informant in the Uranium One scandal involving the Obama administration gave written testimony to three congressional committees this week in which he accused the Obama administration of making decisions that directly benefited the Russian government and their goals of gaining geopolitical advantages over the United States. The informant, Douglas Campbell, told congressional investigators on Wednesday that Moscow sent millions of dollars to the U.S. with the expectation that it would benefit the Clintons, while Hillary Clinton "quarterbacked a 'reset' in US-Russian relations" in her role as Secretary of State during the Obama administration, The Hill ...

Grassley-Graham Memo: Obama Administration Utilized 'Pee' Dossier Four Times to Spy on American

A memo authored by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has confirmed that all four FISA court applications submitted by Obama-era federal agencies to monitor the communications of Carter Page, who briefly served as a volunteer foreign policy adviser to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, relied upon the infamous, largely discredited 35-page anti-Trump dossier. The memo, dated January 4, 2018 and addressed to the FBI and Justice Department, was re-released in a less-redacted version last night. The memo confirms the centrality of the anti-Trump dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele on behalf of the controversial Fusion GPS firm in obtaining the ...

California Bakery Can Refuse To Make Cakes For Same-Sex Weddings, Judge Rules (Kern County Superior Court)

The ruling hinged on a small, but specific, detail. An attorney for a same-sex couple who were denied a wedding cake by a California bakery says they’ll continue to fight after a judge issued a preliminary injunction ruling in the baker’s favor Monday. Mireya and Eileen Rodriguez-Del Rio first spoke out against Bakersfield’s Tastries Bakery in August, claiming the company’s owner, Cathy Miller, turned them away when they told her they were seeking a wedding cake. At the time, Miller didn’t deny the couple’s claims, stating that her Christian faith “will not allow me to participate in things that I feel are wrong.” In an eight-page ruling on Monday, ...

[Senate's] Criminal Referral Confirms Nunes Memo's Explosive Claims Of FISA Abuse

A criminal referral from top Senate investigators confirms explosive charges in last week’s House Intelligence Committee memo regarding abuse of surveillance authorities at the FBI and Department of Justice. It also reveals a host of problems arising from the bureau’s cooperation with foreign investigator Christopher Steele, who was working on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. The eight-page memo from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Crime and Terrorism Subcommittee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) includes underlying evidence to support the claims. “It appears the FBI relied on admittedly uncorroborated information, ...

"At the federal, state, and local levels, taxpayers shell out approximately $134.9 billion to cover the costs incurred by the presence of more than 12.5 million illegal aliens, and about 4.2 million citizen children of illegal aliens." — Matt O'Brien and Spencer Raley. It is also rather more than the single payment of $25 billion that it will cost to build a wall -- five and a half times more, and every year."Undocumented immigrants are at least 142% more likely to be convicted of a crime than other Arizonans. from the all's-fair-in-love-and-pretext dept Anything you do can be suspicious. Just ask our guardians of public safety. People interacting with law enforcement can't be too nervous. Or too calm. Or stare straight ahead. Or directly at officers. When traveling, travelers need to ensure they're not the first person off the plane. Or the last. Or in the middle. When driving, people can't drive too carefully. Or too carelessly. Traveling on interstate highways is right out, considering those are used by drug traffickers. Traveling along back roads probably just looks like avoiding more heavily-patrolled interstates, thus suspicious. Having too much trash in your car might ...

Testifying before members of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee on Tuesday morning, Securities and Exchange Commission chairman Jay Clayton and Commodities and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) chairman J. Christopher Giancarlo stated that cryptocurrency markets in the US require a coordinated regulatory scheme, and that the feds may need more power to enforce the rules. The post reads as follows: “Parents, Please stop telling your children that we will haul them off to jail if they are bad. We are far more likely to shoot them, regardless of how they behave. …Far more likely.” The Thin Blue Line page is without a doubt a police promoting page as they sell their apparel and post memes ...

Sparta, TN — A chilling body camera video has just been released showing the violent, reckless, and outright insane tendencies of police in Tennessee. While the original killing of Michael Dial was ruled justified—in spite of him being unarmed—the new body camera footage raises some serious questions and shines a disturbing light on police officers and their desire to kill. Last April, Smithville police attempted to pull Dial over for driving on a suspended license. Only minutes later, police would kill the unarmed man over this minor traffic offense.   Dial was driving a 1976 pickup truck when police turned on their lights to pull him over. Instead of stopping, he ...

Doubling down on a drug war that has failed for 40 years. What's the best way to address the national problem of opioid abuse and overdose deaths? "My take," President Donald Trump declared in Ohio yesterday, "is you have to get really, really tough, really mean with the drug pushers and the drug dealers. We can do all the blue ribbon committees we want—[applause]—we have to get a lot tougher than we are." The president's dismissal of blue ribbon commissions is somewhat perplexing, since he ordered that one be created just last March—the President's Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis. In any case, the president is ...
