Under attack, the FBI becomes a partisan battleground

In its 110 years, the FBI has weathered storm and scandal. It has had moments that make Americans proud of its crime-fighting and anti-terrorist activities. Yet its most celebrated and longest-serving leader, J. Edgar Hoover, for whom the imposing headquarters building on Pennsylvania Avenue is named, is remembered in large part for the many abuses of power that took place during his long reign. What is occurring today is different. It is more like the crumbling of the foundations of an agency that in its best days personifies the finest in government service and law enforcement. Like much about today’s political environment, the problems began before President Donald Trump was ...

The landlocked township also has gotten boat motors and dive boots. While much of the gear worth $1 million has never been used by the township, some has been given to residents, township officials said. The township supervisor and a trustee said the police have ...

Democrats are getting desperate as Mueller stalls

(DNC Chairman Tom Perez) It’s not just Hillary Clinton who can’t quit Russia. The whole Democratic Party keeps going back to 2016. In a move that reeks of desperation, the DNC filed a civil suit Friday against President Trump’s campaign, Russia and WikiLeaks, alleging a vast (right wing!) conspiracy to tip the election to Trump. The suit’s flamboyant charges made headlines, but that only served to obscure the real meaning. Namely, that top Dems are giving up their fantasies that special counsel Robert Mueller will deliver them from political purgatory by getting the goods on Trump. The trashy suit is their way of trying to keep impeachment and Russia, Russia, ...

Entire County Refuses to Obey New Gun Control Law, Declares Itself Gun Owner Sanctuary

Amid political buzzwords of “sanctuary cities” and “gun bans,” one Illinois county decided to wade into the fray by declaring itself a sanctuary for gun owners. The Effingham County board voted this past week, 8-1, to order its employees not to enforce any laws that would “unconstitutionally restrict the Second Amendment” to the U.S. Constitution. Effingham County State’s Attorney Bryan Kibler said the measure is meant to act as a warning shot to tell the state legislature that the county does not want unnecessary gun control measures, or for the sale of firearms to be jeopardized. The resolution states:“The Right of the People to Keep and ...

“I probably don’t have much time left. Tell my mom I love her if I die,” 16-year-old Kyle Plush told police—who had no problem ignoring him until it was too late. Cincinnati, OH — A tragic case of police incompetence and neglect unfolded this month which led to the death of a young boy who desperately needed help from police. Calling 911 multiple times did nothing and the boy died as police ignored his pleas. Now, days after his tragic death, police have released body camera footage showing the officers who “searched” for the boy never even got out of their car and joked as he died. Kyle Plush, a 16-year-old high school sophomore suffered a tragic ...

"Student safety in any activity is our primary focus."What's more dangerous: rugby, or a walk in the woods? At Pennsylvania State University, the administrators apparently think it's the latter. The student "Outing Club," which has gone backpacking, kayaking, and hiking in state parks over the course of its 98-year-existence, will no longer be allowed to host outdoor events after administrators conducted a risk assessment, according to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "The types of activities in which [Penn State Outing Club] engages are above the university's threshold of acceptable risk for recognized student organizations," according to an official ...

14 Years Ago, Pat Tillman Was Killed and Gov’t Covered Up the Truth to His Death to Sell War

Free Thought Project – by Jack Burns Seventh-round NFL draft pick Pat Tillman wasted no time in setting records for tackles on the football field for the Arizona Cardinals. But in the Spring of 2002, after marrying his childhood sweetheart, Tillman walked away from his multi-million-dollar NFL salary and joined the Army with his brother. Tillman’s departure from the NFL was widely publicized, as was his death on the battlefield of Afghanistan in 2004. The Pentagon, President George W. Bush, and what seemed like all of America, celebrated Tillman’s heroic death. However, Tillman’s death was not heroic by any means. He was shot and killed by his fellow U.S. soldiers. ...

Why I Won't Read James Comey's Book

Why I Won't Read James Comey's Book BY ROGER L SIMON APRIL 12, 2018 (AP Photo/Susan Walsh) It's not just because I have yet to read Dostoevsky's The Possessed or George Eliot's Middlemarch or an embarrassing amount of Faulkner that I will not pony up $17.95 for a hard copy or even $14.95 for the Kindle version of James Comey's new book A Higher Loyalty, subtitled, in case you miss his drift, Truth, Lies and Leadership. It's also not just because I find him one of the more pompous individuals, real or imagined, this side of an Oscar Wilde play. And it's further not just because from the few excerpts I've seen the writing seems predictably puerile. (In ...

Hundreds of Muslims from Bangladesh breaching US border at Laredo, Texas
Post Date: 2018-04-22 08:03:49 by IbJensen

Longtime Geller Report readers know that Bangladesh has become a hotbed of jihad activity, with Muslims targeting atheist bloggers and others whom they consider to be infidels for assassination. Now we learn that hundreds of Bangladeshi Muslims have crossed the border illegally at Laredo, Texas since the beginning of 2017. This report says: “In a KGNS news special report, our Noraida Negron rides along with Border Patrol to find out why these cases are on the rise.” Is jihad being considered as a possibility? Might at least some of these Muslims who are streaming across the border at Laredo be coming to commit murder and mayhem inside the United States? Judging from what is ...

Revealed: Robert Mueller's FBI Repeatedly Abused Prosecutorial Discretion

Journalist Mike Allen of Axios recently said that one word described Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and that word was “unafraid.” The context for his remarks on Fox News’ “Special Report” was that Mueller had just spun off to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York a bit of his limitless investigation into President Donald J. Trump. Allen’s comment was like so many others from media and pundit types since the special counsel was launched. If there’s one word to describe the media’s relationship to Mueller, it’s “unquestioning.” Pundits and politicians have said, repeatedly, that he is “somebody we ...

A Pelosi joke

Last Saturday afternoon in Washington, D.C. an aide to Nancy Pelosi visited the Bishop of the Catholic Cathedral in D.C. He told the Cardinal that Nancy Pelosi would be attending the next day's Mass, and asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out Pelosi to the congregation and say a few words that would include calling Pelosi a saint. The Cardinal replied, "No. I don't really like the woman, and there are issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over some of Pelosi's views." Pelosi's aide then said, "Look, I'll write a check here and now for a donation of $100,000 to you if you'll just tell the congregation you see Pelosi as a saint." The ...

West Valley, Utah (CNN)Mitt Romney did not win the Utah Republican Party's nomination on Saturday, meaning he must compete in a June primary election as he seeks to replace retiring US Sen. Orrin Hatch. After a wild and raucous day of voting at the Utah GOP convention, the former Massachusetts governor and 2012 Republican presidential nominee was unable to win the 60% that he needed to head to the November ballot unopposed. When none of the 12 candidates were able to cross that threshold, the party continued with successive rounds of caucus voting until one candidate reached 40%. On the second round of voting, Utah state representative Mike Kennedy emerged in the lead with 50.88%. ...

Giuliani Looks To Swiftly End Mueller's Investigation

On Thursday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani joined President Donald Trump's legal team and said that he is aiming to bring Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation to an end within the next "week or two." Giuliani had said earlier in the day that he was joining Trump's legal team specifically to help wrap up Mueller's Russia investigation because it was for "the good of the country." “I’m going to join the legal team to try to bring this to a resolution,” Giuliani told the New York Post. “The country deserves it.” Giuliani noted that he has had a long relationship Mueller, a man that he said he greatly ...

Man makes pipe-guns from scrap, sells them to gun “buyback” program for $300

Most buyback programs are an absolute joke. While they are intended to “take guns off the street,” a surprisingly few number of criminals choose to participate in these government sponsored events. These events often collect a variety of broken, used, or inherited firearms from law-abiding citizens in exchange for somewhere between $50 and $100. YouTuber Royal Nonesuch has made a living making videos where he builds and fires a variety of simple pipe-guns from scrap. When his home town of Columbia, missouri offered $100 per firearm at their Gift 4 Gun Exchange buyback, Royal Nonesuch just had to participate. “I don’t have too much time or energy invested in any of ...

Rocket Man no more: North Korea suspending nuclear and ICBM testing

There were hints that this could be coming but I didn’t expect it to happen so soon. North Korea has announced it will suspend it’s nuclear and missile testing as of Saturday. From USA Today: The Korean Central News Agency, which is North Korea’s state media agency, made the announcement as the reclusive nation’s leaders are in ongoing peace talks with South Korean President Moon Jae-in. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is also in negotiations to meet with President Trump. “From April 21, North Korea will stop nuclear tests and launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles,” the Korean Central News Agency said in a report. The report added, “the ...

Meanwhile in Sweden: Shootings And Grenade Attacks Are So Common, the Media Doesn’t Bother to Report Them Anymore (VIDEO)

The news from Europe and especially from Sweden are becoming more Orwellian and depressing by the day. The case in point is Sweden for today’s piece of reality, a country that decided a few decades ago to commit cultural suicide and to abandon all the principles used by their founding fathers to build one of the most prosperous and advanced countries (both culturally and economically) in the world. Since the 70s, Sweden has become increasingly statist and multicultural, and now, a country with less than 10 million natives opened its gates to unchecked mass immigration from Africa and the Middle East (predominantly Muslim areas). The end result is dire: shootings and grenade attacks ...

Interview With Boy In ‘Chemical Attack’ Video: ‘We Didn’t See Any Chemical Attack Symptoms’

A new interview with the now infamous boy in the alleged chemical attack video used as a justification for the United States-led bombing of Syria is adding more doubt to the official narrative. The boy says he was told to go to the hospital where people started dousing him with water. One of the main “characters” in the footage at the hospital is a water-soaked boy, who is seen being sprayed with water by people who claim to be “rescue workers.” It’s not clear whether they are doctors from the hospital, human rights activists, or White Helmets members. The latter usually make such videos and send them to news agencies, including Reuters. In what could be the ...

(The Petulant Puppy) 'He said Mattis said great things about me, as did Sessions. He explained he had asked a lot of people about me and heard great things.' Former FBI Director James Comey includes accounts of people saying nice things about him in almost every single memo he wrote about his private interactions with President Trump, to the point where they take on the feel of a teenage girl’s diary. Dispersed among his accounts of top secret conversations with the president on national security, salacious allegations and Russian influence, and illegal leaks are detailed accounts of various people complimenting his work and defending his honor. “After others left ...

The Democratic (Democrat-Communist) Party filed a lawsuit alleging a conspiracy by Russian officials, the Trump campaign and Wikileaks to damage the Clinton campaign

("Awk, awk, awk, gobble, gobble, hiss, hiss") The Democratic Party on Friday filed a multimillion-dollar federal lawsuit against Trump campaign officials, the Russian government and WikiLeaks alleging a widespread conspiracy to tilt the 2016 election in Donald Trump’s favor. Calling it an “all-out assault on our democracy,” the Democratic National Committee filed the civil suit in federal district court in Manhattan. The suit amounts to another legal broadside related to the 2016 race, on top of the special counsel’s ongoing Russia probe and the FBI raid on Trump’s personal attorney last week. “The conspiracy constituted an act of previously ...

DYKER HEIGHTS, Brooklyn — A Brooklyn postal worker was arrested after 17,000 pieces of undelivered mail were found in his car, apartment and home, authorities said. Aleksey Germash, a letter carrier who's worked for the United States Postal Service for more than 16 years, had undelivered mail from as far back as 2005 in his possession. He told investigators he kept the mail because he was overwhelmed by the amount that he had to deliver each day. Germash said he made sure to deliver "the important mail." Officials found about 10,000 pieces of undelivered mail in his car, about 1,000 pieces in his locker and around 6,000 additional pieces of undelivered mail ...
