I learned a long time ago after coming to eastern North Carolina that any tropical system developing off Africa might be coming for you. I've checked hotels for 100 miles for 3 days and they are all booked up. My wife and daughter want to go to a shelter. I say go. However, I am staying here. A shelter is like a jail.
