The Obvious Suspect

The quest to unmask the New York Times op-ed writer has been filled with speculation. But the article’s prose points to one person in particular. Who wrote the anonymous op-ed against President Trump in Wednesday’s New York Times? All we know for certain is what the Times disclosed: that it’s a “senior official in the Trump administration.” But the most likely author, based on the op-ed’s content and style, is the U.S. ambassador to Russia, Jon Huntsman. Huntsman is an obvious suspect for several reasons. The article’s themes are classic Huntsman: effusive about conservative policies, blunt about low character. In 2016, he made the same points for and ...

Anti-immigration party set for gains as Sweden swings right

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Swedes vote on Sunday in a tight election dominated by fears over asylum and welfare, with the populist, anti-immigration Sweden Democrats vying to become the biggest party in a country long seen as a bastion of economic stability and liberal values. Far-right parties have made spectacular gains throughout Europe in recent years following a refugee crisis sparked by civil war in Syria and ongoing conflicts in Afghanistan and parts of Africa. In Sweden, the influx of 163,000 asylum seekers in 2015 has polarized voters, fractured the cozy political consensus and could give the Sweden Democrats, a party with roots in the neo-Nazi fringe, a veto over which parties form ...

Seaside Heights, NJ — A fairly worrisome video has been shared with the Free Thought Project this week purporting to show a man being arrested after police stopped him for riding a bike without a bell. The video, posted to Facebook by user A Dot Norwood, shows officers from the Seaside Heights police department temporarily detaining a man who was riding his bike. In the first brief video, the officers appear to stop the man and then let him go. However, in the second video, we see them stopping him again. According to Norwood and the man being arrested, police stopped him for riding his bike without a bell on it. As the video shows, however, police quickly escalated charges ...

Not Just Catholics, Rabbi Exposes Rampant Child Sex Abuse by High-Level Jewish Clergy

A Jewish whistleblower who is also a Rabbi set out to expose a horrifying network of pedophilia among top level Jewish clergy just as bad a Catholics. The Netflix documentary, One of Us, released in 2017 exposed what whistleblowers have been saying for years. Just as the Catholic Church maintained, protected, and allowed a pedophile ring of hundreds if not thousands of Catholic priests to rape and abuse children for decades, so too, has the Ultra-orthodox Jewish community in NY been accused of allowing 1 out of every 5 ultra-orthodox Jews to be abused without informing police. Rabbi Nuchem Rosenberg, 68, has been blowing the whistle for decades in what may have seemed to some as a futile ...

In this episode I discuss the guitar players that every serious guitarist [or those who just appreciate music/guitar and different styles] should know between 1970-1979. A comprehensive guide of styles covering Classical, Blues, Jazz, Country and Rock & Roll. ~ Rick Beato Poster Comment:(btw, where did the 'MUSIC' category go??) This guy, Rick Beato, does a tremendous job of explaining and breaking down the dynamics and styles of music overall -- and specifically in this case, 1970s Guitarists. As most of us already know, that decade represented the pinochle of amazing axe work. Pretty fascinating overview and breakdown of what went on (there's a 'Part 1' as well), ...

Trump says Obama's lectures are good for sleeping

Perfect! President Trump in Fargo, North Dakota yesterday responded to the attack leveled against him by name by former President Barack Hussein Obama. Earlier in the day, Obama gave one of his long, boring, lecturing speeches in which he sanctimoniously attacked Trump repeatedly. In just a few words, Trump cut Obama down to size by saying, when asked his reaction to Obama’s Speech: “I’m sorry, I watched it, but — I fell asleep.” I’ve found he’s very good — very good for — sleeping.” Once again, Trump zeroes in on the essence of an opponent! Obama’s lectures are so old, so tired – good for sleeping!

School lessons on the Alamo should cut 'heroic' description, Texas panel advises

The social studies curriculum for seventh graders in Texas learning about the Alamo could reportedly face some new changes, at least one of which has drawn the ire of the governor. Removing the word “heroic” to describe those who protected the Alamo was among the items included in a report penned by an advisory panel to the State Board of Education on how to structure the curriculum, Dallas News reported on Friday. As it stands now, curriculum phrasing of the topic is the “siege of the Alamo and all of the heroic defenders who gave their lives there,” according to the outlet. However, the word in question was reportedly described as being “value-charged” and ...

RIO DE JANEIRO – Jair Bolsonaro, a leading presidential candidate in Brazil, was stabbed on Thursday during a campaign event, though officials and his son said the injury is not life-threatening. Numerous videos on social media showed Bolsonaro, whose platform includes cracking down on crime in Latin America's largest nation, being stabbed with a knife to the lower part of his stomach. The candidate was seen flinching after the attack before going out of view. Police spokesman Flavio Santiago confirmed to The Associated Press that Bolsonaro had been stabbed and that his attacker was arrested. Santiago said Bolsonaro was taken to a hospital in Juiz de Fora, a city about 125 miles ...

CINCINNATI (AP) — The shooter who killed three people in a Cincinnati office high-rise once acted disoriented after being fired four years ago in South Carolina, and he filed a recent lawsuit that a judge in June said "borders on delusional." Authorities on Friday said they have not figured out why 29-year-old Omar Enrique Santa Perez opened fire inside the lobby of a building where he never worked or had any known connection. The city's police chief said the gunman's mental health history is one of several areas they are investigating. Police Chief Eliot Isaac said Santa Perez bought the 9 mm handgun legally about a month ago in Cincinnati before he randomly shot ...

Sunday, the Roanoke Times reported that a Lexington, Virginia regional tourism council had decided to dip into its emergency fund. Why, you ask, is that necessary? Because the area is struggling in the wake of the Red Hen controversy. The regional tourism board, with members from Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County, met with the Lexington City Council on Thursday for an update on tourism initiatives and numbers. The board had initially approved the recovery plan soon after news of The Red Hen controversy was spreading across the country… Director of Marketing Patty Williams said the area is still feeling effects from the controversy — the tourism office received a ...

n a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on court nominees last year, California Senator Dianne Feinstein, 85, went on record that “there isn’t any good in Nazism.” Still, millennials and such should know that it does stand for something. Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei is the National Socialist German Workers Party, whose objective was Nationalsozialismus, National Socialism. Austrian economist Friedrich Hayek (1899–1992) had seen this storm cloud coming for some time. The socialist policy of Germany “was generally held up by progressives as an example to be imitated,” Hayek wrote in 1944 in “The Road to Serfdom.” He noted that while ...

Talking About Certain Guns Online to be Punished with FIVE Years in Prison! (Durbin, Schumer)

Gun Owners of America – by Michael Hammond If Democrat Senators Dick Durbin (IL) and Chuck Schumer (NY) get their way, gun owners could go to jail — for a MINIMUM of five years — simply for posting a file that will allow honest citizens to print their own 3D-guns. These Senators are trying to sucker Republicans into supporting this gun control by helping them pass prison reform legislation. But for gun owners across America, this should be a non-starter!  The battle begins with the House-passed prison reform bill (H.R. 5682). In and of itself, the House-passed bill is not anti-gun. But the Senate, with some help from the White House, is insisting that the House bill be ...

Dallas, TX — Highlighting the sheer insane state of law enforcement in America today is a tragic story out of Dallas this week. An off-duty police officer walked into the wrong home after getting off shift, thought the homeowner was an intruder, and killed him. And, she has not yet been arrested.  The victim was 26-year-old Bothan Shem Jean who was most likely startled by someone coming into his home at 10:00 pm when the unnamed officer opened his door. While the details surrounding how Jean was killed are unclear, according to police, the officer admitted to killing him. In a statement released on Friday, Dallas police said their officer called them after shooting Jean and told ...

You have been warned.ERIC SALARD/Flickr United States health officials and authorities are on high alert after three passenger aircraft have been quarantined at U.S. airports in the past two days. It all started on Wednesday when an Emirates airline pilot reported to air traffic control that about 100 people aboard the 500 seat superjumbo jet abruptly fell ill with flu-like symptoms while in route to the U.S. from Dubai. Once the aircraft arrived at JFK International Airport it was met by hundreds of authorities along with CDC ...

Obama jumps back into political fray, calls out Trump by name: 'He is a symptom, not the cause'

Former President Obama on Friday lamented the state of politics today, calling out his successor, Donald Trump, by name as he started his push to ramp up Democratic energy for midterms. Mr. Obama made his return to the political arena by giving a speech at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign after receiving the Paul H. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government. He praised America’s accomplishments but said there is a darker side to progress when politicians peddle resentment and mistrust to preserve the status quo. “It did not start with Donald Trump. He is a symptom, not the cause,” Mr. Obama said. “He’s just capitalizing on resentments that ...

MAN CAUGHT PAYING OFF KAVANAUGH PROTESTERS WORKS FOR SOROS-FUNDED ORGANIZATION

It has now emerged that the man seen paying off the woman works for a left- wing activist organization funded by billionaire globalist George Soros. “The man handing money to the Kavanaugh hearing protester is Vinay Krishnan. Consultant/organizer at Center for Popular Democracy,” tweeted Nick Monroe. Krishnan’s bio lists him as a “social justice attorney”. The Center for Popular Democracy “receives the bulk of its funding from George Soros” and back in May last year announced that they were setting up an “$80 million anti-Trump network that will span 32 states and have 48 local partners.” While the media obsesses about non-existent Russian ...

In call to mark Rosh Hashanah, president also says Iranians have ‘lost their mojo’ since he quit the nuclear deal, and are now ‘fighting for their own survival’ US President Donald Trump told Jewish leaders Thursday that the US would not give aid to the Palestinians until they reach an agreement with Israel. He also said the Iranian regime had “lost their mojo” since he withdrew from the 2015 nuclear deal, and was now fighting for its survival. In quitting the deal, he said, he had done “a great thing for Israel.” In a conference call with several dozen American Jewish leaders ahead of Rosh Hashanah, Trump noted that he had recently slashed immense ...

The big roads were safe then, or we thought they were. Many of us, the more adventurous, poured onto the highways, just going, moving, looking. We were devotees of the long-haul thumb, crossing and recrossing the continent, dropping into Mexico, whatever. A camaraderie held. There were rules. On an onramp it was first come first served, no butting in line and anybody with his thumb out was taken as a friend, or at least friendly. “Hey, man, got any shit?” was a common question. This meant grass, pot, ganja, herb, and good manners was to share. A theme of the age was that “Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no ...

Burt Reynolds, rugged leading man of ‘Smokey and the Bandit,’ ‘Boogie Nights’ fame, dead at 82

Burt Reynolds, the mustached sex symbol of the 1970s and 1980s, who ruled the box office with good-ol’-boy movies like Smokey and the Bandit and earned the critical praise he so badly desired in Starting Over and Boogie Nights, died Thursday in Florida of cardiac arrest, his agent confirmed to Yahoo Entertainment. He was 82. As much as Reynolds represented an era, he also stood as a timeless cautionary tale. After a five-year run as Hollywood’s No. 1 male movie star, from 1978 to 1982, Reynolds fell into a funk of flops and personal problems, including unfounded health rumors and a nasty tabloid divorce from TV star Loni Anderson, from which his career ...

The president may well be unprincipled, ignorant, and awful, but he was elected fair and square. The New York Times has just taken what it calls the "rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay" by a "a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us." Why the secrecy and urgency? "We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers." The author, we're told, would lose his (her?) job if he/she went public. Please. An identifiable, high-level person quitting on principle might actually command respect and change some minds. But venting that the president is an idiot and ...
