Massachusetts Democrat Gov. Maura Healey has activated the National Guard to help provide food, transport, and other care for migrant families living in emergency shelters. Healey announced in a statement over the weekend that up to 250 National Guard members will be called on to assist with providing medical care, food, and transportation, as well as helping children enroll in local schools. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un plans to travel to Russia this month to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the possibility of supplying weapons for the war in Ukraine, the New York Times reported on Monday, citing U.S. and allied sources.
