The California legislature voted last week to strike anti-discrimination language from the State Constitution. In a 30-10 vote, the legislature passed the Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 5 (ACA 5), which removes the words “The state shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin,” from California’s constitution, which were put in place in 1996 with Proposition 209.

Hey, I figured somebody here might know...... where's a good source and a good solid model of an Asp-type collapsible baton at a reasonable price? I'm thinking something non-fancy; don't need auto-extend or button to collapse it, probably. Also thinking 16" so the collapsed size around 7" is pocketable. No cheap crap, please. Don't need to hear "get a gun", folks; I conceal carry all the time, usually a G-27 or Mustang Pocketlite for dress-up, so have that pretty well covered. Just thinking about options to pepper spray.
