On May 22, the congregation of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Britton, Mich., honored Eileen Jones for 70 years of service as Emmanuel’s organist. The Rev. The development comes after months of rumors of an attempted prisoner swap —and just weeks after Griner was formally transferred to a Russian penal colony to begin serving a 9-year sentence. On Tuesday of last week, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted to authorize police to use drones or robots to kill via remote control in the California city. Then, a week later — on Tuesday of this week, the board reversed course, voting to prohibit this siccing of killer robots or drones on people. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) told The Intercept on Monday that he could bring a Yemen War Powers Resolution to the floor of the Senate for a vote “hopefully next week.” The resolution would end US support for the brutal Saudi-led war and blockade on Yemen. At the time, Rice’s surname was Lei, and she was a 16-year-old student at Concordia School for Special Education (CSSE) in Macau. Rice, who has been deaf since age 5, was born in Fujian, China, but when she was 13 years old, her family moved to Macau to access the city’s more extensive educational resources for the deaf. I know that you hate neologisms, yet I nonetheless propose the governmentalization of social affairs. Albert J. Nock titled a book, Our Enemy, The State.
