Our Old Testament text for Epiphany 4 is certainly a challenge. It is tricky because there is no Gospel in our text whatsoever. Micah 6:1-8 is an accusing message of Micah who is issuing a warning and providing an explicit opportunity for people to do the right thing in order to please the Lord. The federal government’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released new price inflation data today, and according to the report, price inflation during the month decelerated slightly, coming in at the lowest year-over- year increase in fifteen months. According to the BLS, Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation rose 6.5 percent year over year during December, before seasonal adjustment.
