A few years ago, I was scolded by an email correspondent for my alleged indifference to the fact that first responders and teachers are paid far less than are Hollywood stars and professional athletes. David Bullard, R-Okla., will revise his proposal banning transgender surgeries in Oklahoma from the minimum age of 26 to 18, following protests at the state Capitol building earlier this week. A federal judge last week rejected the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) attempt to block Meta's acquisition of virtual reality (V.R.) company Within Unlimited. According to Reuters, an FTC official said the agency had not decided if it would take the case before an in-house administrative law judge.
