Republican attorneys general in 21 states called on the Biden administration to designate Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. FTX Bankruptcy Fees Rise to Nearly $20 Million

The collapsed crypto exchange FTX racked up more than $19.6 million in fees from its advisers just for 2022 alone, according to a Tuesday court filing. Half of those fees were for work done last November. CNBC reported that the bankruptcy reached such urgency that the courts had to mandate an interim compensation plan. A federal judge last week rejected the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) attempt to block Meta's acquisition of virtual reality (V.R.) company Within Unlimited. According to Reuters, an FTC official said the agency had not decided if it would take the case before an in-house administrative law judge.
