F.B.I. Raids Office of Trumps Longtime Lawyer Michael Cohen [Full Thread]
Post Date: 2018-04-09 16:21:37 by Hank Rearden
108 Comments
The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, who called the search “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.” The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York. “Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern ...

Sick Semper Tyrannis

Sick Semper Tyrannis By Paul Edwards April 01, 2018 "Information Clearing House" - Tyranny... What is it? Does the word mean anything any more? Like so many terms it has been distorted to serve the ends of powerful interests until its meaning has been blurred. In its dictionary definitions the common element is the exercise of power without accountability to the ruled. High-powered academic research has established beyond debate that Americans have nothing to say about what is done in their name by the State. Their opus wasn’t needed. It’s painfully clear by now that we are ruled tyrannically and if you’re not flaming furious about that, you’re dead. Are ...

Austin bomber was an unemployed 20-something with no criminal record (NY POST)

Law enforcement officials identified the suspected Austin bomber who blew himself up as police converged on him as 24-year-old Mark Anthony Conditt of suburban Pflugerville, where he lived with two roommates. Pflugerville Mayor Victor Gonzales said Conditt lived in his city, about 17 miles northeast of the capital and near the site of where a package bomb killed a 39-year-old man on March 2 – the first of four bombs. Police tracked Conditt to a hotel in Round Rock, a city in the Austin metropolitan area, using a variety of tactics — including cell phone triangulation — and surveillance video from an Austin FedEx, NBC News reported. They tracked his car until he pulled ...

Sessions may fire top FBI official Andrew McCabe before pension eligibility

As a federal employee, he can be compelled to testify or (if he asserts his 5th Amendment rights) be fired for not doing so. In his case, the pension would go poof if he's fired this week. Dan Bongino was on this issue hard a few weeks ago on his podcast; hoping he does a followup now. I've been watching this McCabe case for the last 6 weeks or so, once I became aware of the weasel's attempt to slip away with his pension and no accountability, like Lois Lerner, James Koskinen and many other Odumbass/Clinton criminals. There's a slim hope we may see some justice, but I'm not counting on Sleepy Jeff Sessions to do the right thing or grow some balls before the weekend. ...

Judge enters not guilty plea for Parkland Shooter (aka MASS MURDERER) Nikolas Cruz

The teen was arraigned Wednesday in last month's massacre at a South Florida high school -- on the same day students across the country walked out of class to demand stricter gun laws because of the killings. A Broward County grand jury last week indicted the 19-year-old gunman on 17 counts of premeditated murder in the first degree and 17 counts of attempted murder in the first degree. Wednesday's plea in a Fort Lauderdale court came after Cruz's defense attorney told the judge that the teen was standing mute to the charges -- meaning he was declining to enter a plea. Cruz, wearing a red jail jumpsuit, largely kept his head down as he sat in a jury box with three law ...

Kevin Rector, a crime reporter for the Baltimore Sun Newspaper, recorded Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh on Tuesday outside City Hall, shouting through a bullhorn to several hundred zombified students, of how she wants to provide 60 taxpayer-funded buses - to send more than 3,000 students to the March For Our Lives rally in Washington, D.C., scheduled for March 24. BREAKING: Baltimore @MayorPugh50 says the city is organizing 60 free buses to send students to DC for the march against gun violence later this month. February 27, 2018 Illegal Aliens, Identity Theft, and Claire McCaskill By Timothy Birdnow Senator Claire McCaskill is stealing the identity of a crusader against identity theft, despite her role in the very scourge she bemoans. The embattled Democrat is once more facing a tough re-election battle (nobody likes her here), and she needs an issue that addresses the worries of her constituents, against which she can pose as a crusader. Her latest battle on behalf of Missourians is against identity theft. But the senator has a past where that issue is concerned. In a blast sent out to constituents, "Air Claire" crowed: But now, scammers are using children's stolen Social ...

Prosecutors and Judges Have Brought Back Debtors Prisons

One of the defining features of my work has been the loss of integrity in the justice system, not just because of separate tiers of accountability for the rich and powerful, but also because of the active collusion of the system in corrupt practices. An ACLU report on modern-day debtor’s prisons caught my eye because of its deep examination of the judiciary’s active collaboration. Debtor’s prisons have been illegal in America since 1833. But that doesn’t matter. We know about some ways people can languish in jail for being poor—if they cannot pay bail, for example, or if they rack up fines related to imprisonment that must be paid upon release. The ACLU report ...

Below is a partial compilation of Killers/Shooters who have in recent years been ignored and allowed to do their thing despite obvious Red Flags and prior knowledge of others. A common thread among the shooters/mass murderers appears to be their respective philosophy and support of Leftist-Democrat Party. Another mirrored common thread is a rabid hatred of America, Republicans, conservatives and/or Christians. A certain Alphabet Agency has become suspect given its political ties to the Democrat Party (and its anti-2A agenda) as well as its illegal, unethical deep state involvement and activities in the bogus Trump Dossier as well as Election Tampering, Clinton/0bama "Fixing" ...

Former Obama State Department official Jonathan Winer, in an attempt to come clean and shape the narrative before being exposed, confirmed that he passed on a dossier from Clinton operatives to the author of the infamous Trump dossier. In an op-ed in the Washington Post on Thursday titled “Devin Nunes is investigating me. Here’s the truth,” Winer publicly confirmed reports that he had passed on a report he received from Clinton operatives to dossier author Christopher Steele in the fall of 2016, right before the election. He also confirmed that those Clinton operatives were aware of the dossier effort — making Hillary Clinton’s denials of knowing about the dossier ...

While concerns over Russian penetration into the political system in the 2015-16 election cycle continue to percolate, allegations of other such penetrations continue to gain steam. The Hill’s John Solomon reports that an FBI informant has testified to three congressional committees that Moscow had taken special aim at political figures in its attempt to corner the global market on nuclear fuel. That penetration involved the Clinton Foundation, William Douglas Campbell insists, and the Obama administration knew it:See Also: Reports: White House knew of domestic abuse allegations against Porter months agoAn FBI informant connected to the Uranium One controversy told three congressional ...

The FBI’s informant in the Uranium One scandal involving the Obama administration gave written testimony to three congressional committees this week in which he accused the Obama administration of making decisions that directly benefited the Russian government and their goals of gaining geopolitical advantages over the United States. The informant, Douglas Campbell, told congressional investigators on Wednesday that Moscow sent millions of dollars to the U.S. with the expectation that it would benefit the Clintons, while Hillary Clinton "quarterbacked a 'reset' in US-Russian relations" in her role as Secretary of State during the Obama administration, The Hill ...

People are fascinated by the German Nazis much more so than they are by the Soviet Communists.Ever wonder why? Both system were organized death on a mass scale – and the Soviet version was worse and lasted longer. But the Soviets were drab and boring. No charismatic Fuhrer; their uniforms were ill-fitting and ugly. The Nazis, on the other hand, knew how to dress. Point being, evil is more attractive, it seems, when it is attractively presented. Beautiful words can convey hideous ideas. The Gettysburg Address, for instance. It is hard to imagine a more audaciously despicable concatenation of stylized lies, of white-is-black, two-plus-two-equals-five inversions of reality presented more ...

from the hey-New-Miami,-your-rights-end-where-citizens'-rights-begin dept Drivers sent tickets by New Miami, Ohio speed cameras will be getting a refund. The state appeals court has upheld the ruling handed down by the lower court last spring. At stake is $3 million in fines, illegally obtained by the town. The Ohio Court of Appeals on Monday delivered a heavy blow to New Miami's attempt to block a court-ordered refund of $3,066,523 in speed camera citations. The village insisted that the lower court (view ruling) got it wrong and that the village should not be forced to pay back any amount on the grounds of sovereign immunity. Not so, said the unanimous three-judge panel. ...

Washington (CNN) - Former FBI Director James Comey took to Twitter to weigh in as rumors swirl around the FBI's reported opposition to a secret memo's potential declassification. "All should appreciate the FBI speaking up," Comey wrote Thursday evening. "I wish more of our leaders would. But take heart: American history shows that, in the long run, weasels and liars never hold the field, so long as good people stand up. Not a lot of schools or streets named for Joe McCarthy."Although Comey does not directly address the memo, it suggests a reference to the FBI reportedly taking issue with the idea of publicly releasing a memo produced by House Intelligence ...

The Bureau desperately tries to discredit the document -- before its release in the coming days. The increasingly embattled Federal Bureau of Investigation launched a preemptive strike yesterday against the hotly anticipated foreign surveillance abuse memo in hopes of discrediting the document before it is released in coming days. The public relations effort came as more evidence became available about the questionable behind-the-scenes conduct of fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who allegedly tried to use his authority to undermine President Trump’s campaign. The classified four-page memo, compiled by House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes ...

Intelligence Recognizes Presidential Authority A Case of Too Little, Too Late

Suddenly the agencies that were out to get him want Trump to protect them and maybe even keep them from going to jail. The Intelligence agencies’ pressures on President Trump to block the House of Representatives’ decision to release a summary of the FBI’s highly classified misdeeds are instructive comedy. The House’s decision shows what no one should ever have doubted: the FBI, CIA, etc. are not the source of authority over America’s secrets. They merely administer secrets and clearances on behalf of the one and only authority over the Executive Branch: The President of the United States. He clears them — not the other way around. Congress, as a co-equal, ...

Over the past year, the Baltimore Police Department has undoubtedly gained national attention in a corruption scandal involving the Gun Trace Task Force, running wild on the streets of Baltimore. Members of this elite group were charged with “racketeering and other corruption, accused of robbing citizens, making illegal arrests and filing for thousands of dollars in overtime they never worked,” said the Baltimore Sun. Maurice Ward, one of the Gun Trace Task Force detectives, took the stand Tuesday in the case of officers Daniel Hersl and Marcus Taylor who were charged with robbery, extortion, fraud and firearm charges. Ward’s testimony provided a somewhat ...
