Drone Pilots have Bank Accounts and Credit Cards Frozen by Feds for Exposing US Murder Post Date: 2015-11-26 08:35:07 by Deckard

The U.S. Government failed to deter them through threats of criminal prosecution, and clumsy attempts to intimidate their families. Now four former Air Force drone operators-turned-whistleblowers have had their credit cards and bank accounts frozen, according to human rights attorney Jesselyn Radack. My drone operators went public this week and now their credit cards and bank accounts are frozen, Radack lamented on her Twitter feed (the spelling of her post has been conventionalized). This was done despite the fact that none of them has been charged with a criminal offense but this is a trivial formality in the increasingly Sovietesque American National Security State. ...

On the same day that Chicago police officer Jason van Dyke was charged with first-degree murder, the city released shocking dashcam video which shows the bloodthirsty cop ruthlessly gun down 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. The police union claimed that McDonald lunged at the officers with a knife, but the video clearly demonstrates this to be a lie. In the video, a patrol car races toward the location where alleged car break-ins were occurring. A police SUV can be seen speeding to get in front of McDonald, who was walking down the street. Van Dyke and his partner exit the vehicle and almost immediately van Dyke begins firing. McDonald made no move toward the cops. Van Dyke shot the teen 16 ...

In memorable fashion, the late, lamented Lawrence Auster made many critical points about Americas self-destructive immigration regime. Here, for example, is an excerpt from early in his classic 1997 booklet-length essay Huddled Cliches: Exposing the Fraudulent Arguments That Have Opened Americas Borders to the World (HTML here; PDF here): [A specious rhetorical] device used by immigration proponents is the non sequitur, in which some negative fact about immigration is countered by some positive fact about immigration, which is wholly unrelated to the negative fact. For example, if you say that Immigration is balkanizing America, youre likely to hear ...

(This essay is biasedas we all should betoward the family man, the working mana real manas opposed to the State and its minions.) A king of men was killed by boys in blue, or rather by deputy sheriffs, Barney Fifes types. But these Barney Fifes, while just as insecure as he of Mayberry, are on steroids and their ARs have banana clips full of bullets, verses one in the pocket. And they unloaded these magazines into the torso of a king. On that murderous evening the venerable Idahoan rancher and logger Jack Yantis, age 62, was having dinner with family and a friend when he received a call from the sheriff dispatcher informing him his prized 2,500-pound ...
Goodlatte: If DHS Is So Good At “Vetting” Immigrants, Why Are There FIVE MILLION Visa Overstayers? Post Date: 2015-11-23 12:32:49 by nativist nationalist

Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies [CIS] isbesides being a wita well-focused observer. Heres something from his brief CIS blog entry (Refugee Theater, November 20, 2015) about the November 19 House immigration subcommittee hearing on Syrian refugee resettlement: The Republicans made more pertinent points [than the Democrats did]. One question struck me in particular: after the State Department and USCIS officials said how effective their interviews of refugees were in exposing liars, Goodlatte asked that, if that were so, how come there are five million illegal aliens who were interviewed before they got their visas? Theyd all ...

The JFK assassination still matters, 52 years on.The JFK assassination, almost to the day 52 years later, is still subject that generates a lot of emotion, curiosity and speculation. Rightly so the event was of extreme significance and is a telling reminder that the people who run this world are far above the level of prime ministers and presidents. Like 9/11, the JFK assassination was a severe blow to the psyche of the public in America and the world. It was mass trauma, not only crafted to remove a man who opposed the New World Order manipulators in many ways, but also designed to shatter innocence and send a powerful message: that the ...

This is your State in action. These are the people you cheer at rallies chanting God Bless America as the war anthem plays. They hate you. They have always hated you. And they want you dead. Slate magazine reports: It was Christmas Eve 1926, the streets aglitter with snow and lights, when the man afraid of Santa Claus stumbled into the emergency room at New York Citys Bellevue Hospital. He was flushed, gasping with fear: Santa Claus, he kept telling the nurses, was just behind him, wielding a baseball bat. Before hospital staff realized how sick he wasthe alcohol-induced hallucination was just a symptomthe man died. Police Civil Asset Forfeitures Exceed All Burglaries in 2014 Post Date: 2015-11-18 09:52:26 by Deckard

Well, it turns out that cops steal more money from American people than thieves do. Between 1989 and 2010, U.S. attorneys seized an estimated $12.6 billion in asset forfeiture cases. The growth rate during that time averaged +19.4% annually. In 2010 alone, the value of assets seized grew by +52.8% from 2009 and was six times greater than the total for 1989. Then by 2014, that number had ballooned to roughly $4.5 billion for the year, making this 35% of the entire number of assets collected from 1989 to 2010 in a single year. According to the FBI, the total amount of goods stolen by criminals in 2014 burglary offenses suffered an estimated $3.9 billion in property losses. ...

The first bill was passed by tthe Kentucky state House on November 10, 1798 and by the Senate on November 13. The bill was then signed into law by Governor Garrard three days later. As is widely known, the Kentucky Resolution of 1798 was authored by Thomas Jefferson (shown), while a companion measure introduced in the Virginia state assembly was written by his frequent collaborator, James Madison. Fixing The Cop Problem Post Date: 2015-11-13 08:43:14 by Deckard

That we have a Cop Problem is obvious. How to fix it, not so much. The problem a chunk of it, at any rate derives from an overweening postmodern concern for the safety of cops to the detriment of those they (ahem) serve. Plus whats known in the lawyer game as qualified or (worse) sovereign immunity. It means they get away with doing things that would ruin ordinary people who did exactly the same things. Its a crazy idea. If, that is, you dont want to end up with a Cop Problem. Take any group of people and make it known that even when they do something criminal, they will be held less responsible for the doing of it and what do you ...

WASHINGTON President Obama bestowed the nation's highest military honor on an Army Captain who rushed a suicide bomber attacking his patrol in Afghanistan three years ago. But retired Army Capt. Florent Groberg said the Congressional Medal of Honor doesn't belong to him. "This medal belongs to the true heroes," he said. "It also belongs to their families, true heroes who live with that day every day missing one of the members of their families." Those heroes, he said, are the four other Americans killed in the attack: Army Command Sgt. Major Kevin Griffin, Army Major Thomas Kennedy, Air Force Major Walter Gray and U.S. Agency for International ...

from the we'll-assault-you-and-your-house-in-public,-but-please-don't-record-us dept For many years, law enforcement agencies used (mostly outdated) wiretapping laws to justify arrests and prosecutions of citizens who recorded them during their public duties. For a long time, they succeeded, with Illinois seeing a great many of these thanks to its (unconstitutional) law. That law has since been nullified by the courts, but there are still a few legacy laws out there being abused to shut down recordings of police officers. Another win has arrived for citizens who play an key part in the law enforcement accountability process. Photography Is Not A Crime reports that New Hampshire ...

In addition to a lot of other things police have the power to do, they can take your cash, cars, and other personal property even if you've never been charged or convicted of a crime a practice that has been on the rise in recent years. This controversial practice is known as civil asset forfeiture. Not only does it allow cops to take your stuff pretty much when they feel like it, the revenue from what they take goes toward those very local law enforcement agencies seizing it. Over the past decade, this practice has gone up nearly sixfold, according to a report released Tuesday by the Institute for Justice, a legal non-profit that focuses on civil liberties ...
