Tim Ogle: This Guy’s Device Got 100 Miles Per Gallon – Then He Had An Attempt On His Life & Later Mysteriously Died Post Date: 2018-01-19 22:12:33 by Deckard

Many people will be familiar with the story of Tim Ogle. Ogle invented a device in 1977 that could go on any car and provide the owner with an automobile that could get 100 miles per gallon with zero carbon emissions. Now that, is revolutionary and it makes me wonder why no one actually ever went on to develop his product, but I think we all know the ultimate reason, dont we? In any case, I ran across this story from Jay Syrmopoulos at The Free Thought Projectand thought I would share it with you because I think it is that important. If we could develop this now on a large scale, using the internet and people could put these on their cars, not only would they save big money ...
HIT & RUN BLOG 3 Lessons from Prohibition, Which Started Today in 1919 Post Date: 2018-01-17 05:35:22 by Deckard

On January 16, 1919, the 18th Amendment became law when five state legislatures (North Carolina, Utah, Nebraska, Missouri, and Wyoming) passed it. In the end, 46 of 48 states passed it, with only Connecticut and Rhode Island voting it down. The text of the amendment set into motion what became known as Prohibition: Section 1. After one year from the ratification of this article the manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors within, the importation thereof into, or the exportation thereof from the United States and all the territory subject to the jurisdiction thereof for beverage purposes is hereby prohibited. Section 2. The Congress and the several States shall have ...

Origins of Modern Jazz: West Coast Branch Post Date: 2018-01-13 10:00:33 by Deckard

When I say "modern jazz," I mean post-World War II jazz. Two things characterize it: (1) small bands; (2) it is for listening, not dancing.Big band jazz was different. The era of the big jazz bands, meaning swing bands, lasted a decade: from about 1931 (Harlems Chick Webb) through 1942: mobilization during World War II. It was Benny Goodman's band, beginning in 1935, that made the music popular. The year 1942 was also the beginning of the strike of the musicians' union. The union refused to allow its members to record music, except for the Armed Forces Radio Network, which was broadcast only overseas. Live performances were allowed. The strike lasted until late 1944. ...
Where Was Oswald During The Assassination? Post Date: 2017-12-28 05:41:03 by Deckard

The most important conclusion of the Warren Commission (WC) concerning the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is that Lee Harvey Oswald was at the 6th floor window of the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD) and fired three rifle shots at the Presidential motorcade. But this conclusion falls apart completely if Oswald was actually on the second floor just after the shots were fired (he was) or even, perhaps, in the first floor doorway watching the motorcade at the very moment of the assassination. Where was Oswald when the shots were fired? The WC never did have hard evidence that Oswald was actually on the 6th floor when the shooting began. No one in the TSBD ...
The Mainstream Media’s Deference to Authority in the JFK Assassination Post Date: 2017-12-11 09:36:38 by Deckard

I just finished watching an interesting documentary film entitled The Searchers by Randolph Benson, who teaches at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. The film focuses on private researchers during the aftermath of the JFK assassination who have questioned and investigated the official narrative put out by the Warren Commission and the Washington, D.C., establishment. According to an interview of Benson, his work has appeared on the Bravo Network and Canal Plus-France, and his film Man and Dog received several awards, including a Gold Medal from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Student Academy Awards. According to its home page, The ...

James Perloff False flags do not stand alone. They are better understood and more credibly explained to skeptics when seen in historys context. On the morning of December 7, 1941, Japanese planes, launched from aircraft carriers, attacked the American fleet at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, sinking or heavily damaging 18 ships (including eight battleships), destroying 188 planes, and leaving over 2,000 servicemen killed. The next day, President Franklin D. Roosevelt denounced this day of infamy before Congress, from whom he secured an avid declaration of war. Up until then, however, Americans had overwhelmingly opposed involvement in World War II. They ...

How CBS News Aided the JFK Cover-up Post Date: 2017-11-23 07:08:46 by Deckard

With the Warren Report on JFKs assassination under attack in the mid-1960s, there was a chance to correct the errors and reassess the findings, but CBS News intervened to silence the critics, reports James DiEugenio. By James DiEugenio In the mid-1960s, amid growing skepticism about the Warren Commissions lone-gunman findings on John F. Kennedys assassination, there was a struggle inside CBS News about whether to allow the critics a fair public hearing at the then-dominant news network. Some CBS producers pushed for a debate between believers and doubters and one even submitted a proposal to put the Warren Report on trial, according to internal CBS ...

We Were Soldiers by Mark Steyn November 11, 2017 On "Fox & Friends" this morning, reacting to the live footage of President Trump in Hanoi, I talked about the Vietnam war's domestic impact on the American psyche. It took many decades for that to change, and this Veterans Day movie pick is one of the cultural artifacts of that evolution in perception - a film about soldiering that wears its allegiance in its very title. It was released about six months after 9/11, in the spring of 2002, and in that sense is a movie about an old war seen through the lens of a new one. The best thing about We Were Soldiers is how bad it is. I don't mean "bad" in the sense ...

President Trump is anticipated to block the release of some of the classified files related to former President John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963, which are to be made public by next Thursday. Unless Trump intervenes, the National Archives has until Oct. 26 to release nearly 3,100 documents pertaining to Kennedy's assassination in 1963. The date was established by the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992, which was signed into law by former President George H.W. Bush in an attempt to minimize conspiracy theories about Kennedy's death. Trump administration officials are concerned releasing classified documents from the 1990s would ...

Archaeologists in Turkey have made a discovery which could settle a century-old debate
and disappoint millions of children around the world. They have unearthed what they say is likely the previously undiscovered tomb of the original Santa Claus, or Saint Nicholas, beneath an ancient church in Demre, southern Turkey. Demre, previously known as Myra, in Antalya province, is believed to be the birthplace of the 4th century bishop. Cemil Karabayram, the head of Antalyas Monument Authority, said the shrine was discovered during electronic surveys that showed gaps beneath the church. We believe this shrine has not been damaged at all, but it is quite difficult to get to it ...

The man who invented Monopoly did not invent Monopoly. The truth is that a left-wing feminist named Lizzie Magie invented the game in 1903 under the title "The Landlord's Game." Her deliberate goal was to highlight the evils of capitalism. The remains of a powerful viking long thought to be a man was in fact a real-life Xena Warrior Princess, a study released Friday reveals. The lady war boss was buried in the mid-10th century along with deadly weapons and two horses, leading archaeologists and historians to assume she was a man, according to the findings, published in in the American Journal of Physical Anthropology. Wrong. Its actually a woman, somewhere over the age of 30 and fairly tall, too, measuring around [56"] tall , archaeologist Charlotte Hedenstierna-Jonson of Uppsala University, who conducted the study, told The Local. And she was likely in charge. Aside from ...

The notion that a political agenda underlies such scientific pronouncements is unthinkable. So as an example, a very specific example of fake science, lets look back at the attack on Oklahoma City. On April 19, 1995, one-third of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City blew up, killing 169 people and wounding 680 others. Three men were arrested and convicted: Tim McVeigh, Terry ...
