The town of Rockford, Illinois has been the site of weeks of protests, riots and arrests, and Friday and Saturday were no exception. Seventeen people have been arrested since yesterday and the police have declared the protests a a riot. A “Back the Blue” rally was held on Saturday morning and it was crashed by Black Lives Matter/ANTIFA, with sadly predictable results. At one point, protesters attempted to overwhelm the police.
