President Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the Democrat controlled Congress forced Obamacare down the throats of Americans in a partisan, Un-Constitutional manner and We the People continue to be even more furious as the days go on. For those in denial that think that the people will forget or embrace Obamacare, you have much to learn and will do so in the upcoming midterm elections. Obama has even acted in defiance of the American people by stating he welcomes the challenge from Republicans of repealing Obamacare. Barack Obama has tried to sell his failed health care boondoggle to the people even after they passed the bill into law. Why, because the people cannot ...

After 14 months of committing 100% to health care reform, the day after the signing of the Health Care bill was to mark the Democratic Partys new primary concern: destroy the uprising, annihilate by all means necessary, the Tea Party movement. The first sign that a plan was in place was the ham-fisted, high-camp posturing of the most controversial members of the Democratic caucus walking through the peaceful but animated Tea Party demonstrators on Capitol Hill. There is no reason for these elected officials to walk above ground through the media circus amid their ideological foes. The natural route is the tunnels between the House office buildings and the Capitol. By ...

obama is happy about the 9.7% unemployment rate... Post Date: 2010-04-03 10:55:11 by no gnu taxes

obama made some speech somewhere today. It's just another day on the campaign trail, oh, wait, the campaign has been over for a year and a half. Anyway, during his speech he says he is pleased by the 9.7% unemployment rate. He said the economy added 162,000 jobs last month. That's great, except 48,000 of those jobs are government jobs, and temporary government jobs, at that. Another 40,000 are temporary jobs in the real world. That's 88,000 temp jobs and 74,000 actual, real full time jobs. I'm sure that the people with the temporary jobs are just damn happy to be doing something, what happens at the end of that? obama and his gang of thugs talk about the 9.7% unemployment ...

GOP Threatens To Remove Ron Paul From All Committee Assignments I would love to see the Republican Party try to remove the progenitor of the Tea Party movement from all his committees. They should really take a stand and do that, itll do wonders for the 2010 elections. According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Reps. Anh Joseph Cao of Louisiana and Ron Paul of Texas have joined Rep. Don Young (AK) in requesting earmarks for the 2011 fiscal year, despite a House Republican caucus vote this month to institute a moratorium on earmarks for one year. Those members committee assignments could be on the line, according to a spokesman for House Minority Leader John ...

WASHINGTON (April 2) A federal intelligence note is warning police that an anti-government groups call to remove dozens of sitting governors may encourage others to act out violently. A group that calls itself the Guardians of the free Republics wants to restore America by peacefully dismantling parts of the government, according to its Web site. As of Wednesday, more than 30 governors had received letters demanding they leave office within three days or they will be removed, according to an internal intelligence note by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, which was obtained by The Associated Press. Investigators do not see threats of violence in the ...
A Party’s Path to Extinction - What open borders has done to the Republican Party Post Date: 2010-04-02 13:53:35 by mininggold

what open borders has done to a Republican Party It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to, than I have ever known. From A Tale of Two Cities, Sydney Cartons words, as he rode the tumbrel to the guillotine, came to mind on reading the latest statistics on what open borders has done to a Republican Party that altruistically embraced it. The Center for Immigration Studies reports that, since 1980, some 25.2 million immigrants have entered legally and been granted permanent status with green cards to work and become citizens. Immigration, Political Realignment and the Demise of ...

There is something good to be said about the Bush administration. Most Americans had jobs during his eight years. Obama's policies like cap and trade and healthcare reform law threatens jobs, as many employers must adjust for the higher insurance premiums and taxes they will pay. One of the issues the media constantly tried to ding Bush on was underemployment. You don't hear that coming from the mainstream media much. Undermployment is a condition where the over qualified take lesser jobs that provide part-time work that pays far below what they are qualified to be making. These are jobs that don't provide a livable wage. According to the latest Gallup Daily Tracking Poll, ...
Obamacare is Bad Medicine … Florida Doctor Tells Obama Voters “to seek care elsewhere” Post Date: 2010-04-02 11:52:51 by no gnu taxes

There is still Free Speech in this country, I think. A Florida urologist has posted on his door a sign to his patients basically telling them, if you voted for Obama, you might as well seek medicial attention elsewhere now instead of in four years. In other words, cut to the chase
because the present is now. Obamacare is BAD MEDICINE. A doctor who considers the national health-care overhaul to be bad medicine for the country posted a sign on his office door telling patients who voted for President Barack Obama to seek care elsewhere. DETROIT, Mich. Five members of a radical Christian militia accused of conspiring to kill police officers and wage war against the government were lured to a warehouse to attend a phony memorial service so they would be unarmed when authorities arrested them, Michigans chief federal agent said Thursday. The ruse in Ann Arbor was part of a series of weekend raids in several states that resulted in the indictment of nine people in the alleged plot, officials said. We basically set up a scenario where we were able to draw them all to one location, Andrew Arena, the FBIs special agent in charge in Detroit, told The Associated Press. And the reason we did ...

Verizon to take $970M charge from health care bill (AP) 3 hours ago NEW YORK Verizon will record a $970 million non-cash charge in first quarter related to the recently passed health care bill. The charge reflects the change of the tax treatment of Medicare subsidies, according to a regulatory filing from the New York-based telecommunications company Thursday. Companies say the health care overhaul, which President Barack Obama signed last week, will make a subsidy that companies receive for retiree drug coverage taxable in 2011.

Construction Spending Declines in February by CalculatedRisk on 4/01/2010 10:20:00 AM Private residential construction spending has turned down again over the last few months. I expect some growth in residential spending in 2010, but the increases will probably be sluggish until the large overhang of existing inventory is reduced. Private non-residential spending decreased in February, and is now at the lowest level since July 2006. The collapse in non-residential construction spending continues ... Shocking news last night as former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin announced that she is following in the footsteps of the noble senator from Pennsylvania, Arlen Specter, and is switching parties to become a Democrat. This news comes just five days after Palin appeared as the keynote speaker at a Tea Party rally in Searchlight, Nev., where she appeared in her former guise as an angry white female and told the crowd of at least a dozen or so people that she was tired of government intrusion into her life and that she was going to do everything she could to send Harry Reid back to Searchlight where he would be lucky to be elected as part-time street sweeper. ...

That's up 61% from February, when 42,090 jobs were lost, the lowest level in nearly four years. Anecdotally I've been hearing of major reductions in state and local employment for the last couple of months, as "stimulus" transfer payments run out and budgets must be balanced on a state level. RNC "Census" mailer offers phone sex number Post Date: 2010-04-01 12:06:59 by Skip Intro

A new entrant in the when-it-rains-it-pours category. The Republican National Committee sent a fundraising mail piece earlier this month with a return number that leads to a phone sex line offering "live, one-on-one talk with a nasty girl who will do anything you want for just $2.99 per minute." At the bottom of a piece designed to resemble a census form, a toll-free number is listed next to the national party's address. A voter in Minnesota received the mailer and called the number intending to complain about the attempt to raise money with a form that looks like a government document. But the Minnesotan was instead directed to a second toll-free number that greets ...

At birth, Houston Tracy let out a single loud cry before his father cut the cord and handed him to a nurse. Instantly, Doug Tracy knew something was wrong with his son. "He wasn't turning pink fast enough," Tracy said. "When they listened to his chest, they realized he had an issue." That turned out to be d-transposition of the great arteries, a defect in which the two major vessels that carry blood away from the heart are reversed. The condition causes babies to turn blue. Surgery would correct it, but within days of Houston's birth March 15, Tracy learned that his application for health insurance to cover his son had been denied. The reason: a pre-existing ...

Has anyone else noticed that seemingly well-adjusted Republicans have been driven insane by the passage of Obamacare? You can catch them muttering under their breath, whimpering on editorial pages and howling to the moon that this Democratic victory is the death knell for much that we cherish in American life. When I first saw a Republican friend jump out the window in this fashion, I assumed it was an isolated incident, or even politically motivated play-acting. Now that I've seen countless others follow suit, however, it's a phenomenon that merits deeper psychological inquiry. LOS ANGELES The head of a Roman Catholic order that specialized in the treatment of pedophile priests visited with then-Pope Paul VI nearly 50 years ago and followed up with a letter recommending the removal of pedophile priests from ministry, according to a copy of the letter released Wednesday. In the Aug. 27, 1963 letter, the head of the New Mexico-based Servants of the Holy Paraclete tells the pope he recommends removing pedophile priests from active ministry and strongly urges defrocking repeat offenders. The letter shows that the Vatican knew, or should have known, about clergy abuse in the U.S. decades ago, said Anthony DeMarco, a plaintiff attorney in Los Angeles who ...
